1) What's your favorite type of movie? Have you ever been hooked on a series? If so which one(s)?
I like comedies the best. Mostly ones that are quirky or a bit dark.
In terms of TV series I like a lot of sitcoms/comedies. Some shows take me a while to get through, but I got through the first season of Ted Lasso pretty quickly (and the new season is coming out now!) and binge-watched The Good Place recently, sometimes watching a whole season in one sitting.
2) Do you have a nick name? How did you get it?

My one roommate calls me a shortened version of my real name, but only a few people on here know my name, so I won't share it. My mom and sister call me another nickname similar to the previous one just with one more letter added. I got a couple of nicknames when I was playing rugby, but none really stuck.
3) If you could break any world record what would it be?

Most scientific article publications??
4) What celebrity(s) would you date?

Son Heung-Min, the Tottenham player :P I'm not sure of his sexuality though. Pro (men's) soccer doesn't really seem like a great environment to be openly LGBTQ+, and I'm assuming he's straight anyway. And he's also said he wants to focus on his career for now and wait to date until he retires from playing.
5) you're locked in a mall. What do you do first, next....

Probably panic at first, and then I'd try to figure out who I could call if I'm able.
6) Would you rather control fire or water? Any reason why?

I think water; it just seems kinder. Though if controlling fire would include stopping/getting rid of it, that would be really helpful too.
7) would you like to share a good summer memory from your your childhood or teen years? Currently?

My family would go on vacation pretty much every summer, and it was always cool to see new places. Sometimes we'd also go visit my grandparents in Southern California. My favorite memory from that was going fishing with my grandpa a few times. Once I caught a catfish, but it tasted really bad when we cooked it.
Lately I've mostly been having boring summers.
8) Do you like this artwork? Why, Why not?

It kinda creeps me out a bit, but it's also pretty cool.

4) What celebrity(s) would you date? Alexandra Daddario
She is so cute! I saw her in the Baywatch movie from 2017 when I watched it with my friend. It was pretty cheesy but also fun.

Hello weekend! *woohoo

its-friday-funny-pics.jpg

1) What's your favorite type of movie? Have you ever been hooked on a series? If so which one(s)?
I like most types of movie apart from horror - I'm a total scaredy cat.

2) Do you have a nick name? How did you get it?
My best friend calls me Lullabelle and another calls me Lobs (I have absolutely no idea why).

3) If you could break any world record what would it be?
Longest hug *hug

4) What celebrity(s) would you date?
Keanu Reeves

5) you're locked in a mall. What do you do first, next....
Try on all the clothes that I'll never be able to afford, eat all the ice cream at the ice cream stand, race up and down on one of the electric mobility scooters.

6) Would you rather control fire or water? Any reason why?
Fire so I could rain down terror on my enemies

7) would you like to share a good summer memory from your your childhood or teen years? Currently?
Our house backed on to a farm and the farmer let us put an old rowing boat on a lake there. In the summer our friends would come over for the day and we'd row around the lake all day. The boat had so many holes in it we'd have to have at least two people bailing out at a time.

8) Do you like this artwork? Why, Why not?
Yeah, it's sad and lonely.

Hi, thank you @Lane for the tag. Having a non productive day. Just tired and want to do very little. But I guess that is allowed. I’m trying to tell myself that it’s ok to stop once in a while. Hope everyone here is doing ok.

1) What's your favorite type of movie? Have you ever been hooked on a series? If so which one(s)?
Favourite films:
Notting hill
You’ve got mail
Sleepless in Seattle
So I guess comedy/romance?
favourite series:
911
911 lone star
Chicago med
Chicago fire
New Amsterdam
The good doctor
ER

Spot the trend?? 🤣

2) Do you have a nick name? How did you get it? I do, it was given to be when I was young by my brother.

3) If you could break any world record what would it be? No idea, sorry. I have zero imagination!!

4) What celebrity(s) would you date? Tom Hank’s although the younger version. Perhaps Hugh Jackman.

5) you're locked in a mall. What do you do first, next.... On my own or with others? Idk. Have a coffee.

6) Would you rather control fire or water? Any reason why? Water.

7) would you like to share a good summer memory from your your childhood or teen years? Currently? Hard to remember, but best holidays have been boating holidays either on the Norfolk broads or a canal boat on the canal network. It’s a bit like camping because there is nothing else to think about other than where’s the next meal coming from. It forces you into a slower pace of life.

8) Do you like this artwork? Why, Why not? I hato say I’m not a fan of it. It makes me feel quite uncomfortable.

1) What's your favorite type of movie? Have you ever been hooked on a series? If so which one(s)?

Comedies, followed by sci-fi, horror and historical one. No series for me.

2) Do you have a nick name? How did you get it?

Not now but younger it was Catfish and some called me Cornbread.

3) If you could break any world record what would it be?

Being lazy.

4) What celebrity(s) would you date?

Alice The Goon because she is a sexy beast. :) Serious answer there are quite a few that I find attractive Sarah Shahi and Norah Jones are favorites but I tend towards dark haired and eyed women.

5) you're locked in a mall. What do you do first, next....

Grab a newspaper, find the nearest toilet and overflow the toilet like Al Bundy. LOL Short of that eat and take a nap.

6) Would you rather control fire or water? Any reason why?

Water, I can drink it. Plus a deluge can give folks an attitude adjustment.

7) would you like to share a good summer memory from your your childhood or teen years? Currently?

A couple of trips for vacation when I was almost a teen going through Austin, San Antonio and then to Houston and Galveston. Fun to see the sights and always I tell people who have never seen the Alamo they may be shocked at how small the building is. Saw the Battleship Texas, watched a ballgame in the Astrodome and the San Jacinto monument ate at the San Jacinto Inn and in Galveston visited Bishop's Palace and Seawolf park where the submarine USS Cavalla was and toured it. For a history buff like myself quite enjoyable.

8) Do you like this artwork? Why, Why not? It is interesting, makes me think of Donna Douglas in the Twilight Zone episode Eye of the Beholder. The mystery in what lies beneath.

Thanks for the tag.
My answers to your questionnaire:
(1) the original Star Trek from 1960s because the alien Mr. Spock was known for suppressing his emotions. In comparison, I don't like the New version at all, simply because he has emotions this time. To me, the less emotions, the better.
(2)Nickname I had was the Human Deformity because I gave it to myself. I called myself the Outcast too, but nowadays I'm the lucky outcast.
(3)Maybe balloon animals, balloon sculptures, making art objects from balloons.
(4)No, I would not want any celebrity. Because I believe I'm Asexual. And I'm blessed being that way.
(5)Use my phone.
(6)Are You referring to that Marvel character, the Human Torch??
(7)Don't have any favorite summer memory at all, but my favorite memory from my teens was when I had a best friend. That friend died many years ago. That's why I prefer to NOT have close friends at all nowadays. That's why instead of friends, I prefer just acquaintances only.
(8)Yes, I like your art. In fact, quite applicable to me because I am an outcast. But as I said, I became the lucky outcast. By accepting who I am, I am at peace.

Same, I thought of the Twighlight Zone episode where the patients are bandaged and the doctors and nurses have pig faces, not sure if this is the episode you're referring too @KM76710 ?

I hope the Sopranos met went well *thumbsup and thanks for the tag.

1) Favourite time of movie: Horror (DECENT horror, thats VERY rare)
Favourite type of series is usually something light and fun. Coupling (2000 - 2004) was great.

2) No, I have no idea what youre talking about and it will stay that way.

3) Fastest rise to billionaire status would be a nice record to break...

4) Only very nerdy ones.

5) Find way out I suppose...

6) Water is WAY more useful than fire in the modern age, especially in putting out fires.

7) My better memories are winter, but OK... we visited my Aunt in Norway, and we all wandered down the road to this secluded little lake, it had a sort of tethered raft in the centre you could swim out to and lay in the sun and a swing off a tree overhanging the lake to swing into the water. It was nice.

8) Its interesting, makes me think about how we are kinda warped underneath (look at her arms) and wear sanitised plain masks for as long as we like them, then if they break or become useless we discard them and find new ones. How we dont show our true messed up selves to each other... but Im sure thats probably just me.
