Don't have any plans for the weekend really. Might go to my friends place tomorrow and maybe out to another place but that's it. Recovering from a week of physical pain and also a couple of quite hot days, very glad it's cooled down over the last day at least, such a relief. Sorry to those who are having to deal with the heat, you definitely have my deepest sympathy, it's brutal imo.

Thanks for the tag @Blue Star . It was so good to go out for a drink, last night and a meal. The place waspacked. The servers and customers were in good spirits and I just wanted to savor it.

Today, I'm going with the team at work to Grounds for Sculpture. Then out to eat after. Some weekends I'm not busy at all and now this. So it's all good. Hope my SF friends are fine today.

Here's a pic of peonies from the farmers market my daughter brought home. They smell so good.

Hey guys!

I thought I would open cafe today. I see that nobody opened for Thursday or Friday, so I will just go ahead and do a Weekend Edition. I hope you guys are doing well. I don't have a particular theme in mind, so you guys can talk about anything or if anyone would like to pick a theme, go ahead and pick it. What are you guys doing this weekend? I don't have nothing much to do this weekend except watch a soccer game on Sunday. I'll tag a few people to get things started and yall can help me with tagging more people if you choose so.

I didn't do much today, but I'm gonna watch a hockey game in like 45 mins. And the tomorrow in the late morning I'm meeting a friend to go to the Pride march. Then Sunday there's another hockey game at 8:30.
I'm a little frustrated. I might have mentioned this elsewhere, but the other week my advisor told me he wanted to have a meeting (this week). I emailed him and told him my schedule was open. But he never got back to me with a time. Now I found out he left on vacation today til the 14th.

I hope you had a good time at the march @Baywasp. They delayed ours here until the fall.

I hope you had a good time at the march @Baywasp. They delayed ours here until the fall.

Thanks. the march itself was pretty good, if not as organized as it could've been, but there wasn't as much stuff set up at the park for the mini festival after the march as we expected, plus everything was crazy crowded since the whole gigantic group of people had arrived at the same time, so my friend and I went for lunch at a place she likes near her apartment instead of hanging around there for too long. And now I'm home.
I almost wish ours would have been in the fall because maybe then it wouldn't have been so hot :P

I'm sure glad I know better than to even hope for any kind of compliments on anything I put together & share here, but I truly appreciate that you said something kind about it at least so thanks very much for that, glad you like the SW thing I put together Ya it was a pretty brutal week but it definitely showed me just how much I rely on chocolate and other unhealthy foods when I feel psychologically weak (which is pretty often). Ya the heat didn't help any with it that's for sure but I def. agree it sux. Glad the last couple days have been cooler at least, hope you're well

Ty Lane that's kind of you to say. I woulda posted about it in the "How are you feeling today?" thread but didn't think there was much point and definitely could not handle feeling triggered on top of already feeling so miserable. Didn't have a high level of hope (or any, really) that sincere comfort woulda been given so I decided to just try to tough it out on my own. Hopefully it made me stronger at least, think that's maybe my only real hope with anything anyway. Being strong. Alone.

I did very little, slept late then visiting with my brother and his family, had supper there and then to get my second shot and off to the grocery store for this month. Even with how cooler it has been here because of the heavy rains it was still up in the 80s and driving around in a car with no air conditioner... I do need to get that fixed. LOL
