Hi all! Hope you're having a beautiful day!

1) Have you ever had a psychic reading? did you believe it? Was it accurate?
I do my own reading every day. It is as accurate as I expect it to be.

2) How do you engage with panhandlers on the street?
Politely and with my tiny smile if they engage with me first, so... like with everyone else.

3) How long can you go without your phone?
I don't really need my phone nowadays, so for a long time, I imagine. I need my computer a thousand times more.

4) Have you ever stolen anything? (Money, candy, time, hearts)
Hearts LOL nope. No, I don't think I've ever stolen anything or I don't remember. As a kid I was too scared of doing wrong things (and had everything I needed anyway), as an adult I know better (and still have everything I need).

5) If you had $100 to spend every week just on yourself, what would you spend it on?
I don't know, books, CDs, home decor accessories... Probably a visit to the hairdresser and clothes these days, but I seem to have become really disinterested in those. :(

1) I am my own, 'Psychic~*~}' ;^). . > j/k..;) :D

2) I try & help them out if I can. For what ever reason, I don't tend to see or encounter them all that often. . . (due in part--to my "irregular," schedule). That said, I always wish or get the feeling that there isn't some-thing more I could be doing.

3) I could go for~eva! And a Day-- (Seriously); at the last jobs I've worked, you know how most have them on their person's or within arms reach at nearly any & all times of they day / shift, etc.? Well, I sometimes would not even bring mine in with me from the car. And even if I did - I then would sometimes (often times, in fact~) leave it in my coat! This led to many, feeling as though I was . . . somewhat "Inhuman!" (whether they were my age... older.. or younger.) ;)
I'm an Idiot with technology anyway(s); @Jane65 knows all about it, I'm sure..;) just joking~*> :) :D And thanks to @adamjam & @Lane ; the coen bros. , ...ralph waldo? ;) I guess that'd be up @total eclipse 's alley! : )

4) only when i wass a very young child, boy, tyrant/tasmanian~ DEVIL- ; ) so this would've vbeen like : "candy," & seetws & tings~~> I was like 5, 6 or maybe 7!?. (but I had it down to a scinece) = I'd be sitting there standing besied the candy isle. . . & i'm sure llooking all quite innocent & unsuspecting by the store cleerks, employees & pharmaciste, et cetera~ then! when I spotgted or fel t the moment (of inspitation) was "Right," I swiped it and lifted it in one smooth motion - almost no bending of the arm - into my side / pant's pokcet~ 'Twas Genius: I swaer! ;) ;) ... oh, what a bad boy, I was (where was rhi rhi/ then~?) prolly not even born yet..;)

5) I'd probably dontate it to the local food shelf or homeless shelter/animal rescue - something along those lines ~*~ I've been very fortunate, in Life: (to have never really needed, "Money!") __. :)

Peace & love, light laughet er and glitgter sparkles & sunshine / rainbows unicorns and elf-lings; greetings, one & all. :D @Champagne @1964dodge @extraterrestrialone @Livelife @case.no.87 @Catch_22 @the.end.ish @JMG @Autumn1973 @RCee ;)

Thank you @Lane for opening the cafe. Thank you @Kiwi2016 and @MisterBGone for the tag

1) Have you ever had a psychic reading? did you believe it? Was it accurate? No, but recently a friend of mine had a palm reading and horoscope reading. Surprisingly, she said that the reading was 90 percent accurate regarding the health, relationship and career including some specifics

2) How do you engage with panhandlers on the street? I usually ignore them, but if they won't leave me, then I give them some spare change

3) How long can you go without your phone?

I don't know but may be a month

4) Have you ever stolen anything? (Money, candy, time, hearts) When I was in school I stole a computer book from a classmate. That day before the incident my book was stolen by someone. I did not want to trouble my family . Secondly, a few times when it's crowed in a public bus I just get down the bus without paying the bus fare

5) If you had $100 to spend every week just on yourself, what would you spend it on? $100 is 7271 Indian rupee. Probably food, clothes , books , a short trip

Thanks Lane for the Cafe and invite.

1) Have you ever had a psychic reading? did you believe it? Was it accurate?
Nope, I wouldn't mind trying it though, for a laugh, I imagine it would be bullshit :P

2) How do you engage with panhandlers on the street?
Individually, many I just pass by, if the mood takes me I give money, and one time I was absent mindedly walking into a public toilet and hadnt noticed I was heading to the womens not the mens (They were poorly labelled) and this homeless looking guy with the usual kind of carboard sign sitting nearby called out and stopped me. He got $20 from me as thanks.

3) How long can you go without your phone?
Nowhere near long enough anymore. I almost never play games on there anymore, but my phone has turned into the nexus point of my life. Schedule, access to work systems, alarms, SF, Reddit, authenticator apps, 2 factor authentication texts, password manager, notes, music, podcasts, google pay, weather alerts, GPS, parking etc.

4) Have you ever stolen anything? (Money, candy, time, hearts)
Physical stuff? Not since I was tiny and that was just a toy or two from school, I even try to return pencils I borrow at work... but digital licence stuff? I have a plex server, what do you think?

5) If you had $100 to spend every week just on yourself, what would you spend it on?
Assuming I cant save and accumulate it for bigger things, maybe a subscription to something nice, or just a new game/film/box-set every week and spend the rest accumulating QUITE the collection of good alcohol.

1) Have you ever had a psychic reading? did you believe it? Was it accurate?
No, I haven't, but I was really open to it after my parents died. My husband felt it was a con, and while he was OK with me going, I decided maybe to wait til I was in a better frame of mind. And then I forgot!

2) How do you engage with panhandlers on the street?
I lived in a really urban area for 13 years, and it could be a landmine with homeless. I got kind of cold about it. Not proud of that, but I was harassed every day and at one point was actually very close to being homeless myself. So, I dunno. I don't have a high tolerance, but I do feel more empathy than I did, say, just a few years ago.

3) How long can you go without your phone?
Depends. I'm not tied to it, but I do like to stay in touch with friends, and texting is easiest. Otherwise, I don't use it too much.

4) Have you ever stolen anything? (Money, candy, time, hearts)
As a teen, I was a decent shoplifter. Mostly cassettes.

5) If you had $100 to spend every week just on yourself, what would you spend it on?
I'm building a small home gym, so I'd probably add to that every month!

Thanks for opening and inviting me Lane.

1) Have you ever had a psychic reading? did you believe it? Was it accurate?

No, not interested.

2) How do you engage with panhandlers on the street?
It depends. Sometimes I give to homeless people spare change they need to buy a bottle of wine or recharge their phone (in my country they are very well taken care of), because they are also willing to help with something like watching your bike or carrying stuff from the store to your car. I ignore drug addicts and organized gypsy beggars.

3) How long can you go without your phone?
The last time it was 3 weeks traveling outside EU. I mostly need it to talk to my friends and family, and killing time when I wake up at 1am and can’t fall back asleep.

4) Have you ever stolen anything? (Money, candy, time, hearts)
My man and I came up with this ‘entertainment’ of stealing something from a bar or restaurant if we’re not satisfied with the service or if they overcharge. It can be anything insignificant like a spoon, ashtray, toilet paper…

5) If you had $100 to spend every week just on yourself, what would you spend it on?
Is saving it for travel allowed?

1) Have you ever had a psychic reading? did you believe it? Was it accurate?

My dad does them, but never for me and I do not think I would ever like to have one done either

2) How do you engage with panhandlers on the street?

I am too polite so mostly I end up buying something or just giving a small donation, also please send donations to Harrow I am poor from panhandlers lol

3) How long can you go without your phone?

About 13 seconds, at a stretch once 17 seconds

4) Have you ever stolen anything? (Money, candy, time, hearts)

Oh boy.... I stole a trampoline once, does that count?

5) If you had $100 to spend every week just on yourself, what would you spend it on?

I want to say books because that would be my intention at first, but I am a guy so the obvious and truthful answer is food, I mean it is always, food isn't it

1) Have you ever had a psychic reading? did you believe it? Was it accurate?
Past member from here did a Tarot reading for me, and called it pretty well. But then again, she was no fly by night spanner as she knew her stuff in great depth.

2) How do you engage with panhandlers on the street?
Depends on their demeanour. If they are getting agressive and in my face then I'll steam roll past them.

3) How long can you go without your phone?
As long as I need to.

4) Have you ever stolen anything? (Money, candy, time, hearts)
Hmm lets see know.... there were The Crown Jewels, Brinks-mat bullion job, The Taj Mahal, a pyramid. I once stole a country once, but my dad told me to put it back as there wouldn't be any space in the garden for it.

5) If you had $100 to spend every week just on yourself, what would you spend it on?
I'll get myself a huge fucking wheelbarrow and head to the nearest £1 store to knock myself out.

Thank you, Lane!

1) Have you ever had a psychic reading? did you believe it? Was it accurate?

Sort of? It wasn't necessarily a reading of my future, though.

Several years ago I was chatting with a self-proclaimed "witch" on OkCupid who just happened to guess my living situation and who I was living with.

She also mentioned that she saw that my "aura" was congested, as though I was stuck in a thick black soup.

Of course, I don't know what my spiritual man looks like, but she was right about my living arrangement.

2) How do you engage with panhandlers on the street?

I usually give money to anyone who directly approaches me on the street.

There was this one time I was down in New Orleans, and this guy asked me to get him some water, and I had actually gone to the gas station to get it, but then for whatever reason, I didn't return to the guy, I just kept it for myself and continued traveling.

I don't know why I did it. I think I was scared, or self conscious. I felt a lot of guilt over that.

3) How long can you go without your phone?

Pretty long if I'm occupied with books or something outdoors.

4) Have you ever stolen anything? (Money, candy, time, hearts)

Clothes, toys, money, media, food, someone's wife.

5) If you had $100 to spend every week just on yourself, what would you spend it on?

Probably the next up and coming "low carb snack".

I've blown a lot of money on disgustingly overpriced chips and baked goods intended to be diet alternatives that end up in the trash because they taste like absolute crap.

1. Nope

2. I'll help out with some change from time to time, not always, but sometimes

3. I can take it or leave it.

4. I stole some money out of another kids lunchbox when I was in grade school. He was a bully, but no excuse.. Ashamed of myself to this day.

5. I honestly don't know...maybe outdoor/hiking/camping stuff?

No, but I want to do that.

2) How do you engage with panhandlers on the street?
I don't really see them around here, but I would help them if I could.

3) How long can you go without your phone?
Probably a while since I never get calls or texts. I do all my connecting on the computer.

4) Have you ever stolen anything? (Money, candy, time, hearts)
Maybe small things when I was a kid. And I don't steal hearts, they take mine and crush them. lol

5) If you had $100 to spend every week just on yourself, what would you spend it on?
Books, coffee, chocolate, food, etc.

1) Have you ever had a psychic reading? did you believe it? Was it accurate?
I don't think I have. Wait, one time my cousin's friend who was learning how to do it tried to palm read me for about half a minute but they didn't have their book with them for guidance and we stopped quickly. I think I was being argumentative about what they were saying so I probably bothered them.

2) How do you engage with panhandlers on the street?
Generally I try to not engage with anyone on the street period, panhandler or not, unless I am miraculously in a mood that I feel like I can smile or say hi at people as I pass them, which usually gets about zero response. But for panhandlers specifically, my honest response for a long time recently was Sorry I haven't had a paycheck since (insert a time several months back), other times I can truthfully say "I dont have any cash on me", other times I just lie and say I don't have any money. One positive aspect of certain unnamed global health concerns is that I pretty much stopped getting anyone coming to my door or person outside and asking for money.

3) How long can you go without your phone?
The determining factor for me over the last year has been: do I need it for phone interviews, or for an authenticator for work. I went several months without one last year but felt forced back into it for the many many many businesses that straight up assume that you have a phone or even a smartphone. It was very tiring and frustrating trying to deal with some of these businesses using other means.

4) Have you ever stolen anything? (Money, candy, time, hearts)
I'm sure that I did, but can't recall the last time that I stole something physical.

5) If you had $100 to spend every week just on yourself, what would you spend it on?
I would throw it in the bank but if that isn't allowed I might spend it on a ridiculous number of tennis balls and a ball machine over several weeks.

1) Have you ever had a psychic reading? did you believe it? Was it accurate?
Nope!

2) How do you engage with panhandlers on the street?
"Couple of bucks? Sorry, I only got hundreds!" But in my defense, most panhandlers around here have the latest iPhones and drive late-model cars.

3) How long can you go without your phone?
Forever? I'm not big on phones.

4) Have you ever stolen anything? (Money, candy, time, hearts)
Yes, I stole money once, but I was a kid and didn't know better. My parents had a large stack of cash for paying rent. I thought it wouldn't make any difference if I just took some off the top. I mean, who knows how much is there? No one can count that high or would ever bother! :)

5) If you had $100 to spend every week just on yourself, what would you spend it on?
Put a dent in my normal monthly expenses.
