Thanks for opening and inviting me @Kiwi2016. Here's a veggie tray for all to enjoy. Congrats on your retirement 🎉. I had pretty decent plans today, went to farmers market in the morning then to St Patrick's Day parade in the afternoon. Hope all SF members are doing as well as possible today. So far just resting up from the last two long days at work, overtime city is approaching. So, other than the typical household chores just being lazy, catching up on sleep. I hope that all are having some fine times and a easygoing weekend.

Errands and some work on painting today, for me. Spring was in the air thism morning, but then a wind came and chased me inside. I managed a tiny, humble weight workout before dinner. Today I was a warrior inside, just letting myself be, and if I feel sad and ssentimental for someone who doesn't care for me, then so be it. Into the fires of creativity I go. Or, something like that. 💫

Also, I got new runners today.

Tired today because I doubled at work last night. They let me swap this evening's shift for last night's overnight since someone called off, and overnights are typically the most chill shifts so I don't mind.
Wanted to go get some Rita's Italian ice because they just opened back up for the season, but it was rainy and gross so after I went to Rite Aid, I just went home. I'll bring some Rita's for the cafe though!

Love the pics posted by you, Inno, BarryW, Lane and Baywasp, all awesome! My "weekend plans" didn't consist of much other than getting groceries. Did that yesterday so now today is just a lazy day for me, lol.

i'm finally being happy and the rest of us in our littel plural system / collaborative are working on it too.
and keep in mind being on SF played a major role in saving our life so its ok to display our Plural and Trans and guess what!!!! the café especially played a major role so all we can say is thanks SF thanks café peeps and thanks Jim! ... for the inspiration. JIM!, I don't know where you sat on the myriads of "spectrums-of-the-mind but so happy you are who you are! 👽 THANKS JIM AND THANKS AND WISHING POSITIVITY ON EVERYONE. Good morning all,

Thank you for the tag Kiwi....
I woke up to dirty and soaking dishes.....got so into it I deep cleaned the bottoms of some pots and pans, I had an all morning insect walk to attend but it's just too cold out, so I went to the vet to pick up medication, Sam has a hot spot, and then did a dog walk before I got their sad eyes. It was so windy last night and this morning the pool was and will again be covered with all the neighbor's tree trash and pollen so had to clean that....successfully managed not to badmouth the neighbors outloud.

A nice essential oil bath and soak sounds perfect after I finish my tea......
I seriously don't remember before I retired how I accomplished 40-50 hours of work a week and then took care of a house, animals, and life as well

I know exactly what you mean about retirement...it is amazing isn't

I had plans for last night that got canceled last minute. Then was planning on spending the rest of the weekend alone as my son was going away. Well, his plans were postponed so we're just hanging out watching a few shows, napping, and planning dinner. Thinking of making lasagna rolls or maybe chicken parm. Something Italian anyway.

of course i have a suggestion(s) like doritos? try this in your own home!

ess's DIY Dorito spice mix recipe variation:

1/4 cup nutritional yeast
2 tsp fine sea salt
2+ tsp smoked paprika
2+ tsp chili powder
2 tsp onion powder
2.5 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp dried cilantro (or dried parsley) for texture
1 tsp cayenne pepper - i actually use 2 tsp bc w/more, its hotter!
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp citric acid powder

Add all ingredients into a container with a secure lid and mix well. try baking or toasting the DYI powder on a pan to make a nice difference to the taste. (make sure it does not burn). keep sealed when not in use unless of course you eat it all up 1, 2, 3. i did i do! ✊

sprinkle onto favorite stuff like your home made kale chips & mushroom chips or popcorn or mix into sour cream* to make a dip or into cream cheese* and have it on a bagel. and btw, nutritional yeast is a great source of Vit B*

*season to taste
