i hate reading because i have some kind of reading disability. i fall asleep very easily. and if i don’t fall asleep i do not absorb what i’ve been reading. i could go on for an hour and start to wonder what i’ve read and have to start all over. it is a wonder that i love to write. i’ve been in meetup groups for writers and have enjoyed it very much and it has helped with my reading since i do have to read other poeple’s work but it is still a labor. but maybe i love poetry the most.

I know lol I never intended for this to actually stay as the only cafe for the whole month, I basically only did that for the topic name cos of how rarely the cafe's are posted these days. By all means feel very free to start a whole new one, and if a mod sees this then feel free to rename this cafe to Jim's Cafe - Tuesday March 8th, 2022 or whatever if ya want. Would be delighted to see another cafe posted this month, or better yet several!

9. Do you like reading? If yes, what are some of your fave genres?
I like to read, but I get really lazy about it sometimes. I tend to prefer nonfiction. Social sciences, philosophy, etc.
10. Do you usually wear something green on St.Patty's day? (It's tomorrow fyi lol)
I tend to do that if I have something I can throw on. I don't make a huge effort. This year I wore my shirt of my old school rugby team
11. Are you wearing anything green right now?
Nope. Just currently have on black and white gym shorts, black underwear, and my Spurs wristband
12. If you could buy any kind of thing that was $1000 or less right now, what thing or things would you want to buy?
I'd probably want to go get a bunch of nice meals.

I honestly like to chat a lot about what I'm up to, how they're doing, etc. I'm fine with going deeper sometimes, but low-stakes conversations can be fun.

Hey @JMG thanks for the Cafe and the tag (I know I have personally been neglecting posting any Jim's Cafe lately) and sorry for the long delay in replying. Here are my long overdue answers:
1. Have you ever lived in another country?
No, Im boring that way, the longest I have ever spent away from England is maybe 2 weeks.
2. Are you glad it will be Spring soon?
Definitely. It will be lovely being able to go outside for more than just the time it takes to get to another "inside".
3. How are you today?
Good, tired. I just drove from South London to up by Manchester and back this weekend, and I just got back, though we got to play with bunnies so that was a definite plus ^^
4. What's one of the last things you bought?
Tech sanitising wipes. It has occurred to me just how long its been since any of my tech has seen the slightest form of cleaning...
5. Not a question so much, this section is just more of an "anything goes" place, just talk about whatever is on your mind (if you want), post a pic of something you like or leave it blank, whatever you feel like
I have spent a lot of my life waiting for things, mainly because what I want wasnt available or it wasnt the right time or I was not yet equipped enough to get it, etc. I have done all kinds of waiting, and I think the worst kind of waiting is waiting for something you desperately want, but is just out of reach, especially when you have little to no control over when that will change.
I have seen so many people do that last kind of waiting, I can think of 3 people off the top of my head who are doing that kind of waiting right now, and if you are too, my heart goes out to you.
