1) what is your favorite food
Hard to pick just 1 but for now I'll say chocolate

2) what is your favorite beverage
Root beer but haven't been able to drink it for the last 4 years so I mostly just drink water or tea these days.

3) what was your favorite job
I think the term "favorite job" seems like a bit of an oxymoron lol. Haven't had many but I guess overall my last one was the best of the ones I've had.

4) what was your favorite vacation
Going to Cali in 2000, going to Spain was quite nice too though

5) what is your favorite time to go to bed
I don't have a set bedtime but I think an ideal time to go to bed is between 9-11pm. I rarely do that these days but I def. need to get better disciplined about that kind of thing (among lots of other things for that matter lol).

As of now, its either 12am/2am. But when can sleep is around 11pm.

1) Ooooh, that's a hard one. But probably pizza (proper pizza, not dominoes etc).
2) Easy - Gin and Tonic.
3) My favourite job was as a display artist at a large department store.
4) Favourite vacation was probably either Borneo or Greece.
5) I normally go to bed around 1am

Hey everyone, happy Friday, all you awesome SFers. Good vibes and well wishes to all of you wonderful people.
I like the questions today. Thanks for opening the cafe @SillyOldBear, and thanks for tagging me @JMG.

1) what is your favorite food

A 12oz sirloin steak, medium/medium rare if i'm feeling bold. Anything else is just gravy. Including the gravy.
Although, there was this amazing little americana burger place in Newcastle i could not stop going to. I'd always get the seasoned olive oil fries, this incredible cheeseburger with fried onions, and the perfect coffee milkshake, with real whole coffee beans. It was heaven in food form. Even led to a fun conversation on a park bench with this cool 65 year old dude as he sipped his gin & tonic and told me all about how real hamburgers come from Germany.

2) what is your favorite beverage

Fentiman's curiousity cola. it's definitely a once in a while treat, since it's kinda pricey, and not exactly healthy (healthier than most soft drinks though), but man, it is totally worth it.

3) what was your favorite job

Hmm, well i've never actually had a job-job yet. (yeah, i know, that's not great) So i'll go with favourite education and that would be my short-lived time as a university student on my CompSci Bachelor's.

4) what was your favorite vacation

Probably the trip i took to France with my dad. Beautiful countryside, a wonderful place to stay, and plenty of bonding opportunities for me and my pa. We came back with so many new stories and in-jokes.

5) what is your favorite time to go to bed

Another answer that i know is kinda bad, but probably right after dawn. When i sleep during daylight, i'm less likely to have nightmares, plus daylight tends to be too bright for me most of the time these days, pretty consistently causes migraines.

Gin's an alcoholic drink mainly made from juniper berries. With tonic water it's a pleasantly mellow drink, usually with a slightly bitter kicker.

Personally i'm more of a fan of rum (made from sugarcane molasses or sugarcane juice) or amaretto (made with apricot stones, peach stones or almonds). Both are fairly sweet drinks, but rum focuses on its potent alcoholic flavour while amaretto is a lot more thick and syrupy.

(I mean, i acknowledge i'm nowhere near an alcohol expert, just giving my take on the drinks in question, please don't attack me veterans )

That's tough.... probably a tie between shrimp creole and St.Louis style baby back ribs

Dark roast Jamaica blue coffee or ginger ale

Working a season as a guide/porter in Denali National Park, AK

Tie between a solo backpackingtrip on Hawaii's Big Island and a guy's trip with my best friends of 40 years to Costa Rica

5) what is your favorite time to go to bed

During the week, probably 930-10; 1130-12 on the weekends..

3. My last job. Getting paid (relatively very well pay) for practically doing nothing. Unfortunately it didn't last long enough. lol
4. Hiking in mountains.
5. From 12 am to 2 am.

Hello everyone! It's amost 1:30am Saturday here so I thought I'd stop by to say hello before I hit the hay.

1) what is your favorite food
It's incredibly difficult to pick just one so I'll go with Seafood. Any and all seafood! Yum
2) what is your favorite beverage
Water - I love it!
3) what was your favorite job
I haven't worked for a long time but anything in customer service. I'm a people person and love interacting with other humans.
4) what was your favorite vacation
I've never travelled outside of Australia but there's so many wonderful places here that I've been lucky enough to go to.
5) what is your favorite time to go to bed
When I'm in a "normal" routine it's usually 9:30-10:30pm. Lately it's been around 2-3am.

Hands down...Coffee!!

RN, not sure which area but probably pediatrics thus far.

Hmm.....hard to choose. Maybe the best is yet to come. I've also had some pretty awesome stay-cations.

Whenever I get tired, no time constraints

I'm one of "those" people too, Gerry The main reason is because most alcohol gives me severe migraines so I just gave up on all of it before I even really begun.

Occasionally I'll have some Vodka but it gives me hot flushes (flashes) so I just can't win! My body just doesn't want alcohol!
