As to the choice of pics... #4 as it reminds me of Japanese prints of the ocean/waves... and loved all the images of dogs...so cute, fun, and wonderful...brought a smile to start my day!

We have one have always loved so thought would share....

#4.... i am a coastal kid at heart even though i was born and raised in the squarely landlocked state of Colorado. i belong near the ocean! However, any free flowing body of water also destresses me. Waterfalls..... mmmmmm magnific! 2nd only to the ocean!

Again I like them all so it's hard to pick just one lol. The dog ones remind me of when I had AI make a "realistic pug" and for some reason, he had glasses.

@AmberMarie I love water toom most especially the ocean. I'm grateful I've also lived in places with very nice streams and lakes. Here's a pic of a sweet little waterfall.

Thanks @JMG ! They’re all pretty incredible, but I feel drawn to 4 & 6 especially. I grew up near the ocean and that hummingbird is so delicate, like this beautiful moment frozen in time.

@JMG thanks for the tag. I like #2 because it reminds me of the tattoo I got last year. It’s inspired by the music of the friend who hosted me when I went to Austin. He is into some country and indie folk type music and my tattoo features a cactus that is on fire like the album cover he designed.

Impossible to go wrong with any critters and dogs are wonderful. Number 3 is great and I love to see the little vermin eaters about the house outside, preferably non venomous ones. I do admit that finding them in the house can be quite a surprise. I have had that happen here a number of times. The most fun one was getting a copperhead out while avoiding the sharp end. LOL

Hey everyone, ok after the success of yesterday's cafe, I thought I would post one for today too (still actually Sun.3rd here lol, but I know for many members it is already the 4th now). Hope it's ok, and I apologize in advance if someone else was wanting to open one today (won't open one again now for at least a few days or more). Just wanted to share these things I made for this one, and also I made a new "pick a pic" collage. It is just another "6" pics one again, but no cats in this one lol. I love cats a lot and they are one of my fave animals, but I don't want to neglect showing pics of dogs and other animals too.

Anyway for the pick a pic thing, it is the same as with the cafe I posted yesterday, but with 6 new "pics" to pick from. I will restate the rules here in case anyone posting here didn't catch the cafe yesterday (feel free to still reply in that one though if you want, it's never "too late" imo) which is to pick what your "fave" of these 6 pics is And same as yesterday, if it's too hard to pick then it's fine to just say that, or if "none" are liked then that's fine to say too. I didn't make them so I won't be offended if "none" are liked

Ok here are the 6 "new" pics then, and also hope everyone has a nice day! Feel free to talk about anything you feel like talking about here, the main point of cafe's is to just have some lighthearted social interaction with other members and of course, have fun!

Best wishes to you @1Lefty on your Heart Surgery & minor pre-op; procedure coming up, which if I'm not mistaken - didn't you say that will determine the course, and maybe perhaps even: the timing of the other (or more major ~?)* no need to reply obviously! Just letting every & any little thought, that pops into my head, subsequently come pouring & spilling right out.

I'm wondering what my NFL (i. e., "REAL Football!~*" j/k. . )~ Team is going to be doing in the offseason w/their Q(uarter) B(ack). Kind of like a Goalie? Maybe? In Soccer, or how you say! .. IF- that is INDEED The Most Important position on the ...fireld? (is it!) . . . Well, there's 'Options,' out there: available, I guess & all, so just sitting here weighing them, as I wait on them (the front office & "star," quarter_back; who seems to be basking in his glory of holding the team hostage - but I don't hold grudges. Or become bitter. Maybe I'll wish for a nervous breakdown, or some-thing, should he continue w/his melodramatic teenage popularity contest ways. ~but most likely! I'll save my Super Powers up^ for some one &/or some thing, that could use them a little bit more judicially, and practically. Because--that's just the kind of nice guy I am =D

Thank you for your reply here with us in the cafe, and I’m so glad you like that painting! It is by an American artist named Terry Runyan, she made some of the other pics I used for those “tag” posts too

I had a calendar last year of some of her many adorable “cats” and that just reminded me I want to put some of them on my wall lol. Oh I will take a pic of the front and back of it and try to post it here later for anyone who might be curious, she does some of the cutest animal art I’ve ever seen, such a fun and unique style imo

Along with the one puffymilk said she liked (the dogs with the green background) and I had forgotten, Terry Runyan is also the artist who made both the cat and dog pics I used in the cafe “banner” or w/e you want to call that (sign? Lol whatever, the thing that says “Jim’s Cafe” and then under it says “Mon.Mar.4, 2024” on it, lol).
