Saw a cafe hasn't been opened since the 19th which was over a week ago now so thought I'd open one today. As always I don't really have much of a theme except for some questions so here they are then.
If you aren't in the mood to answer questions then feel free to just talk about how your day is going, plans you have for the week or post pix of something you want, have or just otherwise like. Hope you all have a great day

1. What has been one of the best parts of this year for you so far?

Hiya @JMG I had no idea a cafe wasn't opened in that long! If I did, I would have opened one myself at some point or other. Keep the tradition going, people; no slacking!

1. What has been one of the best parts of this year for you so far?
This year has absolutely sucked so far, but I guess it's not over until it's over.
2. Are you glad summer is over?
Yes! Even though it still doesn't really feel like it weather-wise...but yeah, for sure. I love fall weather and the season itself is just beautiful.
3. What is your fave season?
Lol, I basically just answered this -- fall.
4. If you could go to any part of the world right now, where would you want to go?
Norway.
5. Do you have at least 1 or more real life friends?
Sort of, I guess. Not really GOOD friends that I see all the time or anything, but yeah, somewhat. I guess it's better than nothing.

Tysm for replying @Aurelia and sorry to hear this year has sucked for you so far. From what I've read that you've posted over the last couple months it looks like you made some very positive changes in your life unless I misunderstood what I read, but ya anytime changes are made I know it's extremely stressful. I hope things will start to improve now that those positive changes have been made though, and I'm happy for you with how well you've done in school. Please remember to be kind to yourself.

My answers to the q's

1. What has been one of the best parts of this year for you so far?
Discovering how awesome RuPaul's Drag Race is and seeing Trinity in all his perfect outfits and being his very lovable, funny and adorable self on there
Also have gotten some cool things online, not to mention finally got an iphone about a month ago after wanting one for the last decade. My bday was great too, sis got me a couple phone cases that I love a lot too lol :p

2. Are you glad summer is over?
Heck yes!!!!! Was way too hot of one this year, just crazy.

3. What is your fave season?
Spring cos of the flowers, but fall is a very close second. The beauty of fall has always been very heartbreaking to me, even when I was a kid I remember looking at the beauty of it all and feeling so deeply happy and grateful for it.

4. If you could go to any part of the world right now, where would you want to go?
California. Would really want to go there next May though cos then I'd have a chance to meet Trinity in person which would be very awesome.

5. Do you have at least 1 or more real life friends?
Yes to "1" real life friend. No to "or more" but hopefully that will change someday soon. Can't give up no matter what I know that much. Gotta stay as hopeful and positive as I possibly can.

1. What has been one of the best parts of this year for you so far?
The introspection / time to self reflect - the lack of panic attacks, massive reduction in OCD thoughts among other things, made a good friend, discovering new music and other media (anime) - I'm doing mathematics now at my own pace
2. Are you glad summer is over?
I've enjoyed this summer, thankfully cuz the lockdown was finally over in Netherlands - Went to the beach more than last year
3. What is your fave season?
Spring, as it's not too hot/too cold/rainy It's quite balanced.
4. If you could go to any part of the world right now, where would you want to go?
Somewhere cold, either Norway or Sweden... Never been there, but I'm attracted to it.
5. Do you have at least 1 or more real life friends?
I have 1 offline friend yeah, lives in the same building as I do :p Went to the movie "Dune (2021)" with them recently, was a great evening.

1. What has been one of the best parts of this year for you so far? I was happy to see Wendy from Red Velvet fully recover from her falling accident.
2. Are you glad summer is over? Yes. I'm not a big fan of heat. I've always liked the cold for some reason.
3. What is your fave season? Fall
4. If you could go to any part of the world right now, where would you want to go? I always wanted to go to Korea or Japan.
5. Do you have at least 1 or more real life friends? Most of my IRL friends I met in college.

I really don't know, my life is on auto-pilot lately.

Fall at the moment, with it's colors and scents.

1. What has been one of the best parts of this year for you so far? Having my writing seen by people.
2. Are you glad summer is over? In some ways I am, but I also miss it. But it's not so hot, so that's a plus.
3. What is your fave season? Summer.
4. If you could go to any part of the world right now, where would you want to go? Maybe Europe would be fun.
5. Do you have at least 1 or more real life friends? I don't spend time with anyone in person except family. All of my friends are online.

I do have some pretty good career prospects, though. Have 2 manager interviews lined up this morning, actually (hoping I get one of them because they pay REALLY fucking well). And besides that, my relationships with my family have gotten somewhat better, so I feel a little less alone I guess compared to before. It all still sucks in a way because it's just way past my comfort zone, but it's also necessary, so...it just is what it is.

Sorry to hear about the new relationship not working out, but if he was like that then it sounds like you're definitely better off without that kind of energy in your life. I'm sure you will meet a great guy soon who is deserving of your awesomeness. All the stuff you've survived and accomplished will be impressive to a lot of guys I think.

That's great about the interviews too, hope you get one of those jobs, wishing you lots of good luck I definitely understand about way past your comfort zone for sure, there was a 7 year period of my life where pretty much more or less the whole time I was never very comfortable with it, but it was also a lot more "acceptable" in the eyes of both society and my own family, so I did it. But every day of it (for the most part) I was pretty miserable. I don't know if I could ever do it again but without doing that it makes a lot of other things much harder so...just not sure right now. Definitely want a much more secure future though so perhaps it will just turn out to be an unavoidable and necessary evil.

Anyway thanks so much for replying to what I said, I'd be glad to talk to you more in PM anytime if you want but I'm guessing you've already got lots of other people to talk to (would be quite surprised if that was not the case lol).

2. Are you glad summer is over? Yesssssssss. Way too hot. Still a bit warmer than I'd like right now, but it's better.

4. If you could go to any part of the world right now, where would you want to go? Possibly London but idk.

1. best part this year : all the work i got done this year on my 64 dodge including bodywork and paint next month. it was a great year so far.

2. are you glad summer is over? : i am glad the heat is over but fall means putting my car away for the winter.

3. favorite season : spring by a wide margin. finally get rid of the snow and cold weather and i can take my 64 dodge out of storage.

4. go to any part of the world : cuba. in cuba they have tons of antique cars and most are in good condition. it would be like paradise to me.
