I made Nisu for my mother in law. She’s had a poor appetite. I delivered it to her today. Takes about 40 minutes each way. it was a nice drive.
i planted some tomatoes & peppers today.
and surprisingly, i can think of something i like about myself. I like that i can cook.
get some coffee & have a slice of nisu with me.

That’s it ; now I know I’m gong to ge the name wrong , but I made homemade lumpia’s to-day (well somebody else ‘’made,’ them - but I cooked them...) & let me just say, g’dam - g’dam - g’dam!!!!!!!!!!

What is one thing you did or can accomplish today? Mainly working but with the holiday next Monday we get half a day off on Friday so the earlier work week is compressed. I also helped a neighbor hook up a harrow.
What is something you like about yourself? Analytical thinking, less emotional and more logical but it does take away a bit of the human element in how I think and react which I do believe is or can be a weakness especially in understanding others.

nisu has several spellings. Its a Finnish coffee bread. It has cardamom to flavor it. I tried to keep it as traditional as possible. its a 3 strand braid.
