OK, here's something interesting: Nick and I are officially done. For real this time. He was actually the one to tell me it was over, so I don't have to feel guilty about it, and I'm sending him divorce paperwork ASAP. He was clean for about a week, then went right back to using. Yeah, I know, shocker...

Also...I'm sure Lu probably told you, but I have a job. I'm getting paid decently and hopefully getting promoted to assistant manager soon (she already told me she wanted to as soon as I'm finished training for lead cashier, so as long as I don't fuck it up in some way...).

But wait, there's more...lol. There's this guy I work with, who's been training me...and well, he's pretty great, lol.And he seems to like me...so yeah. Lol. You can already see where this is going, I'm sure... :P And I know what you're probably thinking, I'm vulnerable, I just got out of a 9-year relationship, and I work with this guy and might even potentially end up being his supervisor in the future, but you can chillax; we're taking things very slowly and just seeing where it goes for right now. And hey, he's not Nick and is definitely not a narcissistic sociopath, so that's always a plus! And his presence gives me a little extra incentive to want to come to work, lol.
