Sorry I'm late responding to the invitation...
I am a retail manager, so very busy time of year work-wise. This is our busiest week, and Saturday the busiest day of the year. Closed on the 25th, and then on vacation with my son visiting family in Atlanta from 12/26-31.
Traditions: I take my son to Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens for GardenFest of Lights (voted #1 outdoor holiday light display this year). Always a lot of fun, with fire pits, s'mores, hot chocolate, Christmas themed model train displays in addition to the lights.
Christmas eve he is with his mom. I work until 5pm or so (we close at 6 on the 24th). I order a huge Chinese takeout feast and cue up Die Hard (1988) and Trading Places (1983). I usually finish the evening with Scrooge (1951), often dozing off hallway through lol ..
Christmas day is pretty low key. I sleep in (for me, that's getting up at 6 instead of 4 ha ha ..), then breakfast with the cat, after which he opens his gift. My son comes over around 3 and he opens his gifts. We hang out and do Minecraft and watch holiday movies, and do a Christmas ham for dinner.
And that's Christmas π
