Thanks for invite @Dawn....President's Day here so am off...yeah! .. thanks for all the treats, coffee and music everyone --what a great way to start the day...but have to face some tasks to do---eg housework which have ignored for a few weeks so not pretty ....
sad but true.......

Guilty.
I didn't go.
Didn't have the energy to be surrounded by people and hate social situations when you're a third wheel.
I think to be honest, that because I went to such a situation last night, and it was as bad as I knew it would be, and it's okay to be bad if it's the right thing, so I'm left out and awkward and whatever else, then going today was harder. For it's no fun alone, and either I'd have been a 4th wheel with some workmates, or a 3rd wheel with my sister and her friend, and didn't have the energy for that, when I didn't and don't want such a late night out (instead of being in pj's now I'd only get home in an hour) I feel guilty but it's too bad.

I think I will add Monday to my petty complaints list. I would vote for it not to be a weekday anymore, but then Tuesday would be the official Monday and it would still be annoying. Maybe it should just become an extended weekend.
