Saw no cafe has been opened since the 21st and since it's the end of the 23rd now I thought I'd just make this be for yesterday/today & tomorrow, hope that's ok.
As always this is a question themed cafe today, just a few though don't worry Hope they will be fun for people to answer but as always no pressure to answer all (or any) only whichever ones you want to answer

1. Have you ever opened/started a cafe topic here before? Yes, have prob. opened it at least 5 or more times I think...

2. What do you think are the best kinds of cafe themes? (ie. ones that have questions, ones that have an actual particular thing to talk about like animals, etc.) Ones with questions are my faves esp. when they are just questions about my fave kinds of things or other kinds of fun/easy q's like that

3. What kinds of questions do you most enjoy answering? Oops kinda answered this above lol but ya ones that ask fave kinds of things, yes or no, this or that, but that mainly have to do with preference or the kinds of things I enjoy.

4. How was your day today? Pretty good overall

5. Anything else you want to talk about? Post it here if you want Yes, always, but it would most likely bore people quite a bit since it basically has to do with how much I love a certain person (prob. not hard to guess who I mean here but just in case it's not clear, see my profile pic and then you will know exactly who I mean lol) and also my kitties and how much I love them. Oh am also pretty much always up for synergetic conversation but starting to think that aside from my uncle and ex that there is just no one else anywhere on this planet who even knows what that is anymore which is a damn shame but w/e I'm glad I have the kind of mind I do & I must just be meant to be completely alone with it all now. I am grateful I ever had such inspiring people in my life though that is for sure.

1. ever opened café: yes many times and had a theme every time
2. best café themes: I think they're all good we need a variety or the café would get boring. so if it's fairly light then it's ok
3. questions enjoy answering: most, same as 2 variety
4. my day: I had a great day today. went cruising in my dodge, but tired as hell. I guess I'm not 18 anymore lol
5. anything else to talk about: I think everyone should be grateful that SF exists. it has saved many lives including mine, it also gives a place for people to vent and get support as well as make friends and go to lighter threads like the café. ….mike

Yes, I’ve opened a café/started a topic here.

2. What do you think are the best kinds of cafe themes? (ie. ones that have questions, ones that have an actual particular thing to talk about like animals, etc.)
I think that just opening is a great start. Sometimes it’s hard to think of questions or a theme, so no worries if someone opens and can’t think of a theme. It’s always fun if someone asks for things that we can pictures of (e.g., special coffees, food, travel themes, pets/animals).

3. What kinds of questions do you most enjoy answering?
A variety of kinds. Each person has their own take on what they ask and what themes interest them. I secretly dread “personal” questions because I don’t like putting too much info on the internet.

4. How was your day today?
This is the café for October 24, 2019. That actually hasn’t arrived where I am yet. Lol. I’m hoping for a good day.

5. Anything else you want to talk about? Post it here if you want
A huge thank you to @JMG for tagging me today! I think the other stuff you mentioned is cool, too. I commiserate with your desire for good conversation irl. I find I get that sort of convo with a few people - so in little bursts, not a lot and not all the time. Enough to generally sustain me. I hope you can find the same!

Yes, 3 times......no, 1×1+1×0.5+1×0.5=2 times.I mean the first time I opened the second cafe of that day, the second time I opened successfully finally, and last time I opened with @Matoand that's more than successfully. However, in the majority of the times, after I opened one, there will be no Cafe the next days. What's up?!!

I want to post a thread about something happened in the past and I don't dare to do it. So I guess my day would be better after my choice of posting that, or not.

1. Have you ever opened/started a cafe topic here before?

I did open a few times, although that was quite a while ago, when i was more heavily present on the forums, before i gravitated towards chat somewhat. :L I seem to recall those cafes doing pretty well though.

2. What do you think are the best kinds of cafe themes? (ie. ones that have questions, ones that have an actual particular thing to talk about like animals, etc.)

Personally, i like questions that are open to a lot of personal reflection, ask people to explain their reasoning, and let people give answers that really show how their minds work. It's fun for them to come up with the kind of reply that only their mind could give, and it's fun for me to see their mental cogs turning. Like, i think my best cafe was when i asked people what superpower they would choose, and why. Got some intriguing answers on that.

3. What kinds of questions do you most enjoy answering?

I'd say pretty much the same, i like questions that allow me to present an interesting new idea or perspective on something. I very much enjoy being able to contribute something unique to a discussion.

4. How was your day today?

Not sure yet, my day's more or less just started, but so far, i'd say it feels like it's going to be a pretty alright day.

5. Anything else you want to talk about? Post it here if you want

Um....I think the Resident Evil Revelations games are an underappreciated pair of entries into the franchise? Especially 2 since it has some really engaging and unique coop features, so i kind of wish i was playing with a friend since that would be easier, but at the same time i'm enjoying exploring how they got around that in single player by letting you freely switch between the two characters, even if that does mean i tend to spend most of my time running around as the characters who can spot hidden items. Although i don't think anything in Revelations 2 can top the sheer creepy value of this thing from 1:

I like the variety of a mixture of both questions and themes

I enjoy answering them all...often makes me think though know I sometimes should shorten my answers as tend to be a bit verbose

No real complaints yet as the day is just starting here....

Once, it was nerve wrecking but for some reason I was really enthusiastic about it and super hyped.. maybe I'll check out what it was again later.

Hmmm I actually enjoy almost every question. It's really fun to try and get your gears rolling for a proper response .

3. What kinds of questions do you most enjoy answering?
I like most of them but sometimes if they can be triggering or are related to something painful I steer away and apologize for not answering. But I do love coming by the cafe as often as possible. It's always exciting.

4. How was your day today?
Today ended and it wasn't okay not was it not okay? So so to be honest but I feel like I'm sinking back.

3. What kinds of questions do you most enjoy answering? Also every question, really.
4. How was your day today? It was a fairly good day, but could have been better. I feel exhausted and not too well right now.

2. What do you think are the best kinds of cafe themes? (ie. ones that have questions, ones that have an actual particular thing to talk about like animals, etc.) I like the variety of themes we get but I tend to find it easier to pop in when we have questions to answer

3. What kinds of questions do you most enjoy answering? I prefer questions about my favorites and things I enjoy. I struggle with questions asking my opinion on things. Always get scared I'll say something wrong! Philosophical questions are hard too.

4. How was your day today? Not great My dog has cancer in his lymph nodes. Went in for some tests today and now he's feeling sorry for himself, my poor boy. He's going to be starting chemotherapy next week but it's very unlikely he'll get better *blub Just sad that it's probably going to cut his time with us short....and feeling guilty for not looking after him as well as I could be because of stupid anxiety and depression. Also I have a cold and it's really triggering my emetophobia. Just a crumby day

Wow so many ty's and replies here today this is really great! Ysw & also ty back to everyone who's replied and answered the q's it's been delightful to read what everyone's replies have been to them.

Lol @LostGirl22 ty for acknowledging the tag, I think the reason they don't always work is if there's more than 5 in a post then the rest don't give notifications to people. Wish there was no limit on it cos to do 4 posts to tag 20 people seems kind of pointless.

Ty @Acy for responding to what I said about feeling so hopeless about ever finding a person in this world again to have some synergetic conversation with (there's no such thing as "limits" or too often with me when it comes to that that's for sure) I am trying as hard as I can to be more hopeful, positive and optimistic about finding that again someday but the more days that go by without it the more painful it seems to become. Guess I just need to try harder to accept the miserable reality somehow I dunno.

Just read your post @Charliex8 (read yours too @bag_of_struggles , ty for replying I enjoyed reading your replies!) and just wanted to reply about what you said about it being scary to open a cafe. I felt that way about it for the longest time as well but then I posted in one of them that I felt that way about it and a kind member here was very reassuring and said don't worry if people like the theme or q's or w/e cos the main point of it is just a place for people to come & socialize and to get them talking.

The first time I ever opened one I was quite freaked out that either no one was gonna reply or that the q's I asked would be criticized or not answered (was mainly worried about my own reaction if that happened cos I knew I'd be mad & I can be kind of unpredictable when I'm mad which I do not like at all) but I worried for nothing thankfully cos I DID get replies, positive feedback and was very grateful for all of that. Now I actually find it fun to open them and if I were to post one that only got 1 or 2 replies I'd be ok now I think cos I've had good experiences with posting them overall.

Also if you have a hard time coming up with a theme then no need to worry about that either cos there's been some cafe's where the person who opened it couldn't think of a theme so they've said feel free to post a theme GL & if you ever do post a cafe please know that I will support it by at least replying ((( hugs )))

PS- Oops also meant to say so sorry to hear about your dog & that you are sick too that sounds very challenging to deal with. I wouldn't blame yourself for what is happening with your dog though, that kind of stuff can easily happen anyway & also I'm sure you did the best you could to take care of him. I wish you lots of luck with him recovering after and also with your own recovery from the cold. Questions that make me think about something I wouldn't normally - bonus points if I leave learning something about myself.
