Good morning everyone!

Welcome to Jim’s Cafe of the Future!

@Angie super thanks for opening many of the recent cafes! =) Per your request, I’m opening the cafe this time. I had a cool theme in mind.

Feel free to add images, text, movies & music or anything that comes to mind to this thread when you think about “The Future”. Not per se the end of the universe or something like that. ;)

When I think about the future I tend to think about science fiction, electronic music and technological advancements. So here’s something to get you in the mood:

Palm Mall Mars (remastered) - by 猫 シ Corp

Palm Mall Mars (album)... imagine there being an enormous shopping mall center on the planet Mars in the future. The album has this amazing concept that let's you experience that with great imagination through music & sounds. Highly recommended. =)

I love that @seabird ! The future of nature, animals & plants are something else yeah - I hope we have a solution versus current environmental disasters like "plastic in the ocean" and such.

I like the inclusion of specifically rain too. Especially in the future cyberpunk-esque cities.

And of course music with some rain textures! :)

I am glad to see this! Thank you Innocent Forever. Sending love to you too. Every year, if I can, I go for a longer run on World Mental Health Day. I encourage everyone to get outside for a little while, take a walk &/or a jog ot run. You are loved. You are not alone. Movement helps us deal with our mental health struggles.

Having the medical and healing knowledge that is actually already known be freely made available and accessible and not blocked by big pharma and governments for things like cancers and other now known as incurable diseases. And the disappearance of chemicals and gmos used in farming and animals production for increased numbers strictly for profits for the megawealthy….

Ok, in a bit better of a mood now.

I think of lots of things when I think of the future, but more than anything I think of simplicity. A simplicity that has been damn hard earned, but where we hopefully evolve enough that we recognize the importance of keeping things as simple as we possibly can. Doing things in a way that pretty much always equates to win-win, leading us to have a harmonic balance between us and nature.

Also:
- Communicating far more effectively than seems to be the “norm” today. Saying things openly, with tact and respect of course, feeling comfortable to do that.

- It being the norm for people to make a lot of effort to be compassionate to others as much as they possibly can.

- People far more often helping others in need to hopefully end world hunger forever. There is absolutely enough for everyone, finding a way to make sure it is distributed everywhere in the world according to “need” (ie “population”) is how that can be done.

- Greed ending enough so that everyone, everywhere, has some kind of safe and decent home. No more homelessness anywhere at all.

I know these things can ALL be done, I don’t know exactly “how” but I know that the best minds in this world could come up with some excellent, fair, just, balanced and harmonious solutions to all these things, and so much more too :)

Thank you for opening the cafe Citizen Insane and tagging me JMG.

I've given this some thought and have always loved alien movies, so why not incorporate them into the future. Hopefully friendly for the most part. But if we weren't quick to destroy them, wouldn't it be interesting to be able to learn from each other, in the future?
