some mustangs are good and for the record i'm not a gm man i'm a MOPAR man lol. mopar is Chrysler, Dodge and Plymouth. seriously all auto makers had their successes and failures even mopar. it comes down to personal preference. I own 2 dodges, my 64 and my dodge quad cab with a hemi. my son has the same type of truck with a hemi and 1978 Chrysler lebaron. and we are both still building the engines. my other son i'm ashamed to say has a 4 cylinder kia, where did I go wrong lol. and they made some good mustangs I owned a 1978. what year and engine was yours?
