if you had a magic wand and could do/change anything, what would that be?

I think I would choose for everyone to communicate with civility, empathy for others and willing to put the needs of others before their own self-interests. In other words, be more giving, and less taking.

Change the magic wand into a ring. Would be more discreet and easier to carry around

My answer is the same as what others have said - Make it so people communicate more effectively, take away all pain/suffering and replace it with health and comfort, no more greed, and just making there be world peace.

For myself be perfectly healthy.

For others and the world no war, hunger or housing issues. For people to be more compassionate and less tied up with just pleasing themselves.

Nice question @Angie Im always happy to answer what-if questions.

I would use the magic wand for 3 things (in descending order of preference):
1) Create a portal from wherever me and Auri ended up living to wherever we ended up working. No more commute for either of us, and no more having to limit ourselves to working near home or living near work.
2) Daily healing spell on both of us so we are always in the best of health (and no hangovers)
3) LOTS OF MONEY ^^

Hey @Angie, liking the question today, one that really gets to people's core philosophy/thoughts. Thanks for opening the cafe, and thanks to @JMG for tagging me.

So many noble and conscientious answers in this thread, nice to see so many good people whose first concern is the rest of the world.

...Not me though, i'd use the wand to climb Celeste Mountain in an instant.
(For the majority who aren't versed in this metaphor, it means i'd wave the wand and instantly experience the end result of years of hormones and surgeries, including several that cannot be performed with our current technology, so that i perfectly passed as a woman and could live authentically as one.)

If it's not a single-use item, then i'd probably also reverse my age by a few years, so i could live my whole adulthood as the woman i should've been since i was 21.
And then if it's still got the juice, i can do all the good and noble things like ending wars and hunger and stuff, i guess. 🙄

Hey, sorry I'm late. I would like to make sure that everyone cares more about each other and are willing to help other people and be kind, at the very least. I think that would help my problems as well as a lot of other people's.
