I was really hoping someone else would do this, but it seems to have fallen on me to open the cafe again. I'm just gonna order in some Chinese takeout. I'll get sweet and sour pork, general Tso's chicken, beef and broccoli, Kung Pao shrimp, mixed veggies with garlic sauce, as well as egg fried rice, Chinese donuts, and fortune cookies for everyone.

I had rugby practice this morning on a snowy field, and that was fun but cold and muddy. I didn't get tackled so I was less muddy than the rest of my teammates. But I managed to pull a dude down by his sweatshirt, which was pretty satisfyng.

Today's challenge is about fortune cookies. Did you ever get an interesting fortune in a cookie or one that's stayed with you for some reason? What would be a fortune you'd like to get? Or even just look up a fortune generator online and tell me what it says. Answer as much or as little as you'd like. For me, once I got a fortune that said something along the lines of "A nice cake is waiting for you." I thought that was kind of weird. I didn't get cake, but my parents did take me out for ice cream afterwards.

Lol I was sleeping, sorry about that :P

Ooh, I love Chinese takeout! Going to the local restaurant for my birthday next month.

I haven't gotten anything in a fortune that really stands out. I just did one and it says "You will live long and enjoy life". Maybe they know something I don't. :P

Cake and ice cream sounds great. Let's all go out for some!

@baywasp - thank you "again" for opening up! Mmmm, Chinese! Does anyone else ever do dim sum? One of the couples I hang out with is Chinese and they take our gang to authentic dim sum places and order for us. Always a very special meal! :)

No special fortune cookies for me, either. @Witty_Sarcasm, we'll have to work on this, right? lol @baywasp, I think that ice cream counts as cake in your case! :)

I've never tried it. I was planning on it back in San Francisco, but that was when I was a vegetarian, so it was hard to find an appropriate place for me. Now that I'm in Pittsburgh there are fewer options, but I'll have to look into it.

Thanks for the cafe opening today. I am nuts about chinese but am picky about it. I'm too Americanized when it comes to the food but love egg rolls from this specific place that was local that I could walk to.

I got one a long time ago that said something like this "don't laugh at ones misfortune" and that kind stuck with me ever since in the back of my head.

Todays been really a lazy day for me even though I should have had my 20 minute walk logged in

I found a fortune on my table that I got not long ago. I'm not sure if I can discern quite what it means. It says "Force equals too much; effort equals too little; being equals enough." Sounds like it'd be inspirational if I only knew what it meant. But I'm not sure.

My online fortune cookie just now said "If you don't got it, fake it"
So there ya go, the Internet tells all.

Thanks for opening again @baywasp This is YOUR challenge!

I've never had a fortune cookie in my life. But my parents have taken me to fortune tellers before. It was mostly so they can get their way.
