Jim's Cafe - Saturday, January 28th

Another late open day at the cafe. I've been working hard at preparing some barbecue for everyone. We've got ribs, brisket, and grilled veggies, along with cornbread muffins and peach pie.

The challenge for today is to post a picture here of something interesting... whatever you like. (I'm really bad at thinking of challenges; sorry if this isn't good enough.)

Here's a machine... not sure what it really is, but it looks cool:

Wow didn't realize it was opened late today thanks Wasp.

Guess my show and tell of something interesting comes from Takashi Amanos style of aquascaping todays not his work but inspired by it. Yes its in a fish tank under the water.

The lion cub was "Cuffy". He was 9 months old and stayed with us one night. I was in my early teens. My dad worked at a hardware store and they brought Cuffy in to draw customers. But he did not like being left alone at night, so he stayed a the homes of staff members when the store closed at night.

Well, I don't have any pictures to post because my technically challenged mind hasn't worked out how to yet...

But I'm going to be setting up the big TV screen for tonight's Australian Open final: Roger V Rafa!!

It's every tennis fans dream! Can't pick who I'm going for though. It's like picking your favourite child! (Though I only have 1 myself) Just hoping for an epic match. Not likely to ever see these two play each other in a Gland Slam Final again.

Anyone's welcome to join me. Just bring along some snacks and enjoy!

Omg I know I was so anxious and on the edge of my seat watching it I such a tennis nut I watch the two full weeks hahaha!

It was so epic it couldn't of been any better I don't think I'm always sad when the Australian open is over hahaha!!!!
