Hello SF family, I hope this finds you well as can be.

Today I'd like to open a conversation about time. I believe many of us have time on our hands.

What do you do with your free time?
Do you have hobbies?
Are you trying to cut down on screen time? (I've been avoiding the great sucking vortex that is social media lately)

Do you feel productive with your free time?

What do you do with your free time?
I listen to music most of the time, but I've been watching movies lately

Do you have hobbies?
Lately I've been exercising, does that count? lol

Are you trying to cut down on screen time? (I've been avoiding the great sucking vortex that is social media lately)
Yes. I've been doing pretty good with my social media screen time, and I kind of want to cut down my internet use in general as well

Do you feel productive with your free time?
Not really, but it's good to have my free time at the moment :)

Hey Angie, thanks for posting this cool cafe for today, I’m ok thanks, hope you’re well too :)

What do you do with your free time?
Do you have hobbies?
Are you trying to cut down on screen time? (I've been avoiding the great sucking vortex that is social media lately)

Do you feel productive with your free time?
1. Most of my time is free time, and a huge chunk of what I do is play some games on my phone, watch shows or movies, read and also I try to go for walks sometimes too (need to do that last one a lot more, working on it).

2. I consider playing games and reading to be hobbies, other than that, well sometimes I do random sketches, haven’t done that for a while though.

3. Somewhat, I know I should definitely be on my phone/playing games less. I used to go on Facebook every day, several times a day, now it is very rare that I go on there, so I definitely get it about social media.

4. Not sure if I’m ever all that “productive”, but I like to think I at least make a good effort to enjoy whatever I’m doing as much as I can, and to be “in the moment” with it.

Happy weekend! I'm waiting for a friend to go see a Makerspace - a place ike a club where they have all the equipment and space to do crafts and stuff like 3d printing. It's priey but I have all the woodworking gear - well amost - they have. But they do stuff like make electric cars for fun but it seems like a lot of retired men engineers hang out there and I probably do not need another hobby.

What do you do with your free time? Most of the time I honestly surf the web. I I work 45 hour weeks and don't do much when I come home because I am so tired. On the weekends though I do chores hopefully a little woodworking, walking, and tai chi classes.
Do you have hobbies? too many which is why I need to cut back but am afraid all I would do is surf the web some more.
Are you trying to cut down on screen time? (I've been avoiding the great sucking vortex that is social media lately) I haven't because on facebook I am members of groups that do crafts and I learn a lot from it.
Do you feel productive with your free time? No but probably am too productive some days so it may be ok that i am not productive sometime

What do you do with your free time?
Am retired and have more time than I know what to do with. I read, build jigsaw puzzles, knit, attend church.

Do you have hobbies?
Main hobbies these days are reading, knitting, jigsaw puzzles, sleeping.

Are you trying to cut down on screen time? (I've been avoiding the great sucking vortex that is social media lately)
Only have basic cable for tv. Anything more costs too much. Don't stream either. Only social media I use is SF. I don't trust it. I really don't like computers, or our high tech age.

Do you feel productive with your free time?
Not usually.

Thanks to @Angie for opening and @JMG for tagging me. *hug*hug

What do you do with your free time?
Mainly just play video games, watch tv/movies, and read sometimes. I want to get back into walking around for exercise, but it's hard to motivate when there's nowhere to go.

Do you have hobbies?
I'd consider my game playing and the achievement hunting i do to be hobbies. Some people collect stamps, i collect as many achievements as i can, ideally every one a game has.

Are you trying to cut down on screen time?
I mean, i'm trying to coax myself into getting out and doing other things, but otherwise no. I think it's a misconception that time spent away from a screen is inherently better than time spent looking at a screen. I think they're of equal merit. Agreed about social media though, i basically cut it out entirely years back, and i'm much better off for it.

Do you feel productive with your free time?
I'd say so. By my own standards anyway. Don't think i'd meet most people's definition of "productive", but i meet my own, although i'd like to be productive in more constructive ways.

What do you do with your free time?

I listen to music, play guitar, study, watch the stars and stare at the celling.

Do you have hobbies?

Playing guitar. Reading books (?).

One day I will sure get into cooking as a hobby. Or stargazing.

Are you trying to cut down on screen time? (I've been avoiding the great sucking vortex that is social media lately)

Sort of. Years ago I had an Habitica app account, and it really helped me to built up a routine around things that I wanted to do instead of bed rotting.

But besides that I just spend my free time on Reddit, Twitter and here.

Do you feel productive with your free time?

Not really. I feel like my problem is more of motivation of what to do instead of procrastinating.

What do you do with your free time?

I do a fair amount of reading, which can include looking up things online. The amount of information is great but at times weeding out of the great amount of opinion can be interesting and/or irritating. I do admit that many pastimes I do less as I get older and lazier. :)

Do you have hobbies?

Carpentry and amateur astronomy are two favorites and it great just to explore whether the cosmos or creating or fixing furniture, doing mending and manufacturing both as they strike my fancy.

Are you trying to cut down on screen time? (I've been avoiding the great sucking vortex that is social media lately)

Mine is probably the same fi not even more, but I have so much entertainment: books, music and film both TV and movies that I do access from one of any of the PCs here. I do much prefer watching a TV show say on a 40" screen that is two feet away. As far as anything socializing, social media I have never done much of that online.

Do you feel productive with your free time?

I normally do but I have always had more of a guided style of doing things. Everything well planned out so that things move along like an assembly line. Thorough and efficient.
