Happy September! I'm always happy to see September arrive, its the beginning of a temperature change here in Texas.

So I have a couple of season, time questions for you today.

Are you summer, fall, spring, or winter? Please share why.

Summer, but more towards the beginning because I don't deal with with hot temperatures. I like how vibrant everything is at that time of year.

Probably night, it's just quiet and peaceful then and I feel most relaxed.

For me it is Fall by far with the cooler and crisper air, the coming of the year end holidays and the longer nights and shorter days.

Definitely night. Things slowing down and cooler yet with the Sun going down earlier plus I am much more alert and aware of things at night. I do admit getting older and lazier night coming earlier is a good reason to just stay in, settled and warm with the night.

Spring and Fall
Spring because of all the newness, new growth, freshness, baby animals, new bright colors, and just a new chance at life for just about everything out there in nature.
Fall because of the End to the heat, the fresh crispness and rich colors throughout nature, and the ripening and harvesting of all that has grown and matured over the summer.

Are you sunrise, daylight, twilight, or night? Please share why you picked your time of day.
i grew up with insomnia. Night time was always my time to be alone in my thoughts and space. To be able to be myself without scrutiny. It's quiet and peaceful. The entire night is my favorite. i love when everything is drifting off to slumber. Then the peace that follows. Ending with the dawn of the morning where everything is slowly awakening to the fresh new start of a new day.

Just a small extension of both questions...
i love the middle of the night during winter at the end of a snow, where it's peaceful, quiet and beautiful. The stars are out and the snow is sparkling under the moonlight. my favorite time to go out and shovel, or even just stand in the quiet crisp cold. It sends all my senses into a new dimension of sorts and allows peace to wash over my every being. That used to be the time songs would write themselves from within.

I'll keep this short only because I'm pretty tired. Sorry. Here goes...

I love late summer (the last two weeks of August up to the fall equinox in late September), fall, & winter (as long as it's not too cold or too snowy). I love the changing colour of the leaves in the fall. When I was a child I loved winter sports such as skating & hockey. I'm sensitive to high temperatures, so I never liked summer much. Spring is lovely, too, but my absolute favorites are late summer & fall.

I'm not a morning lark but a night owl. When things are better for me, I love the peacefulness of the night. I'm also more productive from late afternoon, through the evening, & into the night. That said, I love twilight, the time just before sunrise & after sunset. The skies are beautiful then.

Hi everyone! I just came back from a weekend trip with my friends to a tiny village in France. It was wonderful! It was a bit of a heatwave, we had so much fun in the swimming pool in the garden! We also visited the Orval Abbey right across the border, where they produce the famous trappist Orval beer. In fact it used to be my favourite one. We played board games, laughed, relaxed... :)

Hope you all have a beautiful first week of September! โ™กโ™กโ™ก

I love all these moments of the day, but I rarely ever see sunrise because I don't like waking up before it. Daylight is my energy, sunlight in particular. I can be fully myself, I can do anything, I feel the magic!

I thought I'd be Summer for similar reasons, but my hubby says I'm Autumn, because "I always seem to long for missed hot Summers", which sounds like Autumn. :D Also, "beautiful, soulful, vibrant" were in his description, despite my rather white pale complexion.

Spring, because old helio says a gentle greeting, the atmosphere and earth warm up, and so many lives wake up, leafy yeloow-gold-green comes back, insects, critters, trees, flowers, etc.

Twilight, for me; both morning's version and evening's. Love <3 the feel of being between the world's of darkness and light.

I fit that also with the white pale complexion, and back when I actually had hair it was a dark red although when I grew a beard it was copper like a penny even though on my mom's side of the family my heritage is every shade you can imagine from folks living in Texas back then from Irish, Mexican, Comanche and escaped slaves from Louisiana. I never did tan I just burned. LOL.

I like all seasons but I enjoy Fall the most. Mostly the colors, the break from the heat etc. The only thing I don't like about fall is because it's hunting season here I can't go into the woods around here. Winter is nice because of winter sports but I don't like mud season.

I'm a morning person. I like the quiet walking at 6am before all the world is up. For many reasons like people have mentioned why they like night. For work I still struggle with 5am but I am most alert around 8-9am. At 4 when I break from work I am ready for a nap.

Tysm for posting the cafe today Angie, and for tagging me @KM76710 :)

Happy September everyone :)

I'm spring, cos it's my fave season. I love the flowers and that everything is coming to life again after the deadness of winter.
I'm night, cos it's my fave part of the day. Always felt like a more calm and relaxing time of day for me. I feel a lot less stress and worry at that time of day.

I'll be honest, i'm not sure on my answers to these questions any more. I used to prefer fall and night, since it was when i was usually awake. But now, idk, there's so much life and energy in the world in spring and summer, and i finally appreciate that. Plus all that sunshine and vibrant colour has become beautiful to me. I used to much prefer rainy, overcast days, and snowy fields.

And despite previously being awake at night more often than not, these days i'm rather taking to being a morning person. I find it really satisfying waking up alongside the sun, and in a few months' time, i'm gonna find it satisfying being up before it, and getting to watch it rise.
It would seem that i'm still in sort of an awkward limbo between the person i once was, and the person i appear to be becoming.

Thank you for opening and tagging me Angie and KM.

I like summer because of I'm lucky I get to go to the beach and have a few cook-outs with my children.

I'm a morning person and feel energized in the morning. On a good day and when I feel it, I'm grateful for another day to be alive so I'd say I like the dawn the best.
