I love “true story” movies. These were kids working in a prejudiced situation coming out on top so extra points! I happened upon it accidentally…..
I’ll have to try and find the movie you are referring to🏌🏼‍♀️
Me too, they’re great. I checked the library for The Perfect Game and it doesn’t have it. If we ever get a newer tv (ie Smart tv lol) and can get Apple tv then I could watch it there.

The movie I mentioned came out last year on Netflix. It’s called “The Long Game”.
Link to the imdb page for it here: https://m.imdb.com/title/tt7738330/?ref_=m_tt_urv
(Hope that link works, lol) ;)

Thank you for the tag @JMG :)

What movie have you seen recently that you would recommend and why?
The story of my life, because it unfolds more every day :D But honestly I watch a lot of movies so it's hard to pick just one.

If you could see one movie again for the first time, what would it be and why?
It's a Wonderful Life because that is a great movie.

Is there a movie that really made you think?
Plenty of them, especially if they have life lessons in them.

Unless I know someone has the same or somewhat similar tastes I can be hesitant about recommending movies. At times I can be amused or entertained by weird things. LOL

Too many to pick out a single one, and the list would include many favorites.

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Even ignoring that it was impossible for Khan and Chekhov to have recognized each other since Chekhov was not on the show I wondered who was running starfleet, Larry, Darrell and Darrell. You have a marooned bunch of genetic supermen and superwomen both physically and mentally on a planet. It would be a wise precaution to keep them and the planet monitored to see they don't get out somehow. Make a transmitter and broadcast a distress signal, possibly get rescued and escape onto the UFP or join up with Romulans, Klingons or whichever aliens to lay waste to things. One that can tie with keeping track of the castaways why wouldn't the Reliant entering the system notice that an entire planet exploded and was just gone from its orbit?

Is there a movie that really made you think?

Hi Flower *hug How have you been?
I don't think it's ridiculous at all, it's a great film illustrating some serious topics, but in a way that can be watched by the whole family. :)
Edit: I might not reply quickly as I'm leaving for a long weekend trip in an hour. ^^ I'm not ignoring you. <3
