I’m a day late because was battling med side effects yesterday; little better today though. As a proud friend of a dear black cat myself, I would also choose your cat 
Second choice would be 8 because the colors seemed very dreamy. You definitely have a very arty collection!

I had a black cat, once named Cooper--or, "Coop" for short~ /so , anyway! it was unfortunately short-lived, as I'd adopted him from the shelter, and he fell ill & terminally so about a year and a half later. But he was a wondrous little thing, had fairly long hair, was tiny, but his face looked or resembled a lion. And it was the strangest thing ever, for me anyway, in that... he liked/loved to play in the snow. So I'd wake up first thing in the morning and he'd jump into his harness, like it was a magic act, fly / trample down the stairs hit the bottom and begin rocking back and forth from side to side doing that can opener thing they do as stretches like they're flexing and closing their front & hind legs. Very funny! Didn't matter how cold or windy it was. Without fail. Then later on in the day we'd go for walks. Better not cut those short either, or there'd be a price & trouble to play. So much spirit wrapped up in that minute little body. Had to have been just over 5 lbs. or so~?* Really devastating when I lost him. Still think of him, often. But it is different.

This is truly awesome, and also thank you so much to everyone who picked "my kitty" as their "fave" of those pics, lol! I really and truly love that very much, and she'll be very happy and flattered when I tell her about how so many people in here picked "her" out of those other options I put there :p 
Also, just wanted to give a special thanks to MisterBGone for sharing that sweet story about your black kitty (Cooper, such an adorable name for a cat, love it!) and yes as CS (CrossedSeas) said, he sounds like he was wonderful, and sorry to hear you didn't get to have him for very "long" overall, but that is so sweet that you rescued him from the shelter like that! He was very lucky to have you as his most kind and caring owner. I'm sure that despite that not being a very "long time" overall that you made that by far the happiest year and a half of his life I'm sure he is now in kitty heaven watching over you, wishing the best for you and being a very happy lil Coop playing with all the other kitties there. Oh if he sees my sweet lil angel there (her name was Chloe, RIP Chloe Dec 2019) then please tell him to say hi to her for me ok, and also that I miss her dearly. The sweetest looks she used to give me all the time from across the room, aw heck ok it is too painful for me to even think of those pure, sweetest, most deeply loving looks because it only makes me miss her even more still. She was the purest, sweetest, most loving kitty ever. My sweet black kitty (Bella) gives me those looks sometimes too though, gave me one just the other day actually and it made me feel so happy to see her looking at me so lovingly like that Cats and animals in general truly are the best with giving unconditional love, I feel so lucky to live in a world that has such loving beings as them Ok sorry this got much longer than I intended it to (oops, lol) so I'll end it here now, but wishing the best for everyone here, always.
