Lol I'm pretty sure this isn't meant to be a "serious" discussion & lots of other much wittier people have already put funny things for this but I'm more comfortable (or at least "more in my element") giving a more serious answer to this. So I think it's cos being psychic doesn't work that way, would be cool in a way if it did but also extremely unfair since it seems only some people are blessed with such an ability (I know for those who have it that it's prob a mix of a blessing and a curse) and not others. The way I think it should work is that the truly best people with the best intentions towards others should be able to be psychic and if they are evil, mean, sadistic or just otherwise people with bad intentions then they should not have that ability. If only life were so fair like that, who knows maybe one day that will be the case.

He dared me to press it, I did, a cop with a gun got in my face said it was emergency button and never press it again. No one was going to tell on me and then this girl I liked told on me for no reason, I was practically in the clear
