Good Afternoon Café Peeps!!

Sorry for the late opening today - I am not gonna lie, I was in bed until gone lunchtime and now I am trying to tackle the state of the house that I have sorely neglected after having a nasty cold for a week.

Apologies if you stopped by and we were closed. To compensate we are putting on a full Sunday dinner with all the trimmings. @NYJmpMaster will be footing the bill today so please order and eat as much as you like!

@Rockclimbinggirl , @Petal and @DrownedFishOnFire are taking their turn at waiting tables - please be patient if they spill gravy on you!

@Acy and @AlexiMarie7 are organising dessert and I heard they were doing some spectacular flambé thing so prepare your oohs and ahhs!

I will be sitting in the corner while everyone fetches me cups of tea and completes todays challenge of telling everyone a joke!

Was going to open up the cafe earlier but got distracted by cleaning up and showering!!!

I shall have a chocolate muffin and orange juice!! No gravy crap unless it is from KFC.

I am going to go on a holiday by myself in 2017, bit nervous about that, looking up places and Ibiza looks like a winner. Will start saving in January.

At Southampton rail station yesterday the announcer was saying "make sure you have all your belongings with you... and have a happy Christmas"

and then on a bus today a passenger got off and said "Have a good Christmas" to the driver, it's complete madness

Hehee I spilt too many gravy that lured all kinds of dogs following me all over while I drop a bit there and here showering people with gravy breath and slobbery kisses for the folks who wants it from the dogs waiting for me to refill and spill a lot more in between!

So my real challenge is not eating off my own dessert, after the chocolate and marshmallows I had earlier. I'm going to call this preceding week a total wash. Starting over tomorrow and will be doing better.

I'm not good at jokes, but I saw this on Facebook, and, as a former music kid, I particularly liked it: "I didn't want my kids to join band or orchestra and risk being exposed to so much sax and violins."

finally hit the new banh mi place. It was good but expensive. They ran out of bread, but not before they'd made my sandwich. Now I'm listening to a minor league hockey game on online radio. I need to do homework soon though.
