Good Morning One and All... saw the lights were still off so found the keys under the flower pot and have started the coffee. Spring has sprung here so good wishes to one and all...

Thought having breakfast in the trees would be a nice day to spend a lazy Sunday....

Today is Easter and I'm on my own right now since my mom had to work today. I spent last night and some of today with my nephew which really seemed to make him happy. Not much planned for today except eating candy and dyeing eggs. Hope everyone is doing well.

He was so insistent that I sleep over because I never had before. He said he would make a fort and everything, but maybe we'll do that next time.

@Lane....seeing your easter eggs reminded me...my father actually saved two of mine which his friend who is helping me with my dad's estate mailed to me...so thought would share...

yes my father was clearly a hoarder...but do have fond memories of him blowing out the eggs for decorating every year...

Having moved my daughter to the far north of England 6 weeks ago for a new job, this weekend I'm moving her back down south for an even better job. I was hoping to spend more time up here when lockdown finishes as it looks so beautiful but I've had to make do with an afternoon instead.

I visited a huge iron sculpture called The Angel of The North, saw a small section of Hadrian's Wall built by the Romans and had a very windy walk on the beach.







Now the cars are packed full, ready for the drive back down tomorrow.

Tysm for the tag & opening the cafe today @Kiwi2016 I had considered opening it but wasn't sure if I could handle certain things so changed my mind. Really glad there is one today though, nice pix you posted too, that rabbit tree is so adorable & love the idea of having breakfast in that cool treehouse too!

What a beautiful sculpture along with the wall and the windy beach afternoon. Safe travels back.
