Hey @JMG, another great cafe, thanks for opening it and for tagging me.
I'm really liking the icy moonlit lake, it looks so peaceful. Great to see some winter pictures in the rotation.

1. How has your week been so far?

Really great honestly. I finished my nail polish collection, so now i have a nice range of colours. I heard back from a trans specialist therapist, so we're gonna get started with our initial chat next week. And as of literally, what, an hour ago, i've finally blocked my former abuser from messaging me, and the freedom feels incredible.

2. Do you have a "favorite" day of the week? If yes, what day is your fave?

Sundays. They're the day i usually hang out and play games with my best friend for a few hours, which is the regular highlight of my week. It's great we still find time for each other now he's so busy with his job, and his girlfriend, and househunting. Makes me feel like no matter what happens, we'll always matter to each other, and be there for each other.

3. Do you have any pets?

Not currently, unless you count my noble companion, Baldrick the pheasant.

4. Is there anything else on your mind that you feel like talking about? If so, please feel free to talk about it here!

I love SF so much. The people here are so kind, and they help you through things you feel like you could never talk about anywhere else.

Missing talking to someone a bit more "often" a bit, which is ultimately annoying to me because I like to think that I ultimately don't really "need" anyone, but I guess I needed them more than I realized.

Yeah, i completely understand. I don't think anyone can be an island really, we all need some people in our lives. But if it's who i think you're talking about, you definitely deserve better than him. And if you have some faith in yourself and the fact that you're likeable, which you definitely are, then i'm sure you can get out there and make a much better calibre of new friends.

3. Do you have any pets?
I have shelled companions. An ornate box turtle (since 1990) and Russian Tortoise (since 1998).

1. How has your week been so far?
It's been okay. I've been good so far about not working extra/too hard. Wondering what the near future will be like.

1. My week has been slow moving. Relaxing. Daughter gave me her massage at Hand n Stone, was really therapeutic.

Sunday is my favorite day of the week. It's even more quiet outside in the mornings with people sleeping in. I love not hearing morning work traffic.. Calmer energy out and about is so nice.

Samsun is the photo and I have another dog, Sadie. Just finished bathing both of them outside, Love em whether they are clean or filthy, lol.

Just finished another root canal Wednesday that was a surprise bit of info given me late Tuesday, So the good part is that oral pain is now hopefully behind me.

I love all the pictures that have been shared! The bunny is adorable, and the one with all the various cats is sweet!

Here is a nest of wild cotton tail baby rabbits…they generally have the white mark on their foreheads until they are considered fully “adult.” The hair surrounding them is from the mama bun, who plucks it from her chest to keep them warm, covered, and hidden.

Monday and Tuesday I prepared a PowerPoint deck for the hymns for a Celebration of Life.

2. Do you have a "favorite" day of the week? If yes, what day is your fave?
Wednesday and Thursday seem to be good days. I have most things for other people/obligations done, so the rest of the week is mine.

3. Do you have any pets?
I have pet peeves…JK. I have Shadow, a mostly black, long-haired cat. Shadow is my bestest friend!

4. Is there anything else on your mind that you feel like talking about? If so, please feel free to talk about it here!
I am going to a charity make up sale on Saturday…you get a ticket, enter in a draw, and 15% off any products you get. I don’t wear a lot of makeup…Mascara, eye shadow, cover up/dab of foundation, lipstick. I am delighted to get a deal on my favourite and very expensive mascara (that I would not otherwise buy)!

I love the white cat with the heterochromia. It's cool to see different colored eyes like that. And the fifth image is interesting with the leopard(?) jumping out of the picture.

1. How has your week been so far? It's been all right. Work was a little stressful yesterday because I was dealing with a very serious situation, but everything seems to have turned out okay. I once again got the option to pick up the overnight shift following my evening shift and do a double in exchange for being off the next day. So I've been off today and will be off tomorrow. I don't go back in until 9 PM on Saturday.
2. Do you have a "favorite" day of the week? If yes, what day is your fave? Not really. Especially with my work schedule, I don't have set days that I'm always off. But I like my days off so I can enjoy them and go places, whatever day of the week they fall on.
3. Do you have any pets? No pets right now. Am considering looking into fostering cats with a local rescue. They provide all the needed supplies and can help with transportation for vet care, etc. So you just need to have a place for the cats and take care of them. But I'd be a little nervous, both about me doing something wrong, and about the cats potentially messing up my apartment.
4. Is there anything else on your mind that you feel like talking about? If so, please feel free to talk about it here! hmm idk. I came home from work this morning (my coworker gave me a lift because I live fairly close) and rested, then I went out to the cafe near my apartment and chilled there for a bit and got an iced vanilla chai latte, then I went home. Would love to go out to a different neighborhood, but I heard we might get some bad storms this afternoon/evening, so I'm staying close to home.

Cool name! I had a cat but don't now (q3), will get another someday though.
How has my week been? It's been like every other week in the last 30 years I guess.
"favorite" day of the week - Sunday, I feel it's the day of the week where I don't have to do anything, and that's ok.
Is there anything else on your mind that you feel like talking about? - robots, 30 years ago we were told we'd all have robots and flying cars so where is mine?

And finally... I love this pic! Angle statues are so cool (thinking weeping angels here) and add in the surreal lamp, and yeah, pleasantly surprised. (So maybe my week hasn't been like every other week after all)

Oh and ya the friend I was talking about wasn’t the same as the one I posted that topic about in the other forum (ie - not my rl friend) he and I are thankfully getting along much better now I’m glad and relieved to say.

Ok, I will do my best to have faith in myself and also to have hope that I’ll be able to find at least 1-2 close friends to talk to fairly often, either in person or online.

You’re welcome for the tag @Livelife and thanks so much for the hug for Bella, she’s been hiding all day cos of some construction noise that’s going on in our building right now. When that is over in the next hour or 2 and she comes back out then I will definitely “pass on that hug” to her from you, lol

Thanks so much for replying, answering the q’s, picking some fave pics and of course for your kindness and caring with not only reading what my reply was to the q’s, but for your kind words about my haircut too! Ya, it really did feel nice getting it done at a salon after so many years of it being cut by my mom lol. She does a good job too of course, but it never had a “style” (she’s not a professional hairdresser after all, lol) it was always just a “trim” which I appreciated a lot of course. At least kept it at a “shorter” length and where I didn’t have split ends or anything like that. I’m really grateful she’s always been willing to help me whenever I’ve asked her to do that for sure

Wish I could reply to everyone’s posts individually but maybe that doesn’t matter much when I do anyway (not sure, lol). I’m very tired, drained, worried and stressed right now (have the lunch tomorrow that I’ve been feeling…apprehensive…about for the last month) so ya every ounce of my energy is pretty much going into “surviving until the lunch, and hoping the lunch itself isn’t too unbearable” I suspect once it’s “over at last” that I will most likely (hopefully!) have quite a bit more energy available to me again. Really and truly needing all the strength, good/positive energy and luck in the world right now, just really wanting (and needing!) it to go well I guess.

Didn't get a tag but I am chiming in. As usual i liked all the pictures. I do like all the brilliant colors which is my favorite type of art so I have trouble picking out one.
Questions:
1. How has your week been so far?
Pretty good, and I get my car back tomorrow. It's a short work week and I get tomorrow off.
2. Do you have a "favorite" day of the week? If yes, what day is your fave?
Friday or Sunday. I don't tell my many people about my Fridays off because they're mine to do errands and projects and just goof off. On weeks that I have to work Friday I usually claim Sunday as a day to do laundry and other mundane things but really it's "my" day to do nothing and goof off.

3. Do you have any pets?
One cat. she's 15 years old. When she goes over the rainbow bridge I will have a few years without a cat and then get one for my "quiet years."
4. Is there anything else on your mind that you feel like talking about? If so, please feel free to talk about it here!

Well, tomorrow is a new day and I was thinking of posting a Cafe. I was thinking of asking for pictures on one's phone or camera with no people posing on them. What does everyone think? Probably no one will read this response anyway it's so late in the day.
