Jim's Cafe - Thursday 20th April

Hello beautiful café peeps. I am sorry for the delay opening today; it took me four hours to find the key that @Innocent Forever had put back in the wrong place!

I hope that everyone has had / is having a fabulous Thursday! I have been on vacation from work so been sleeping A LOT and eating far too much food I should not have been. But I have all good intentions for when I go back to work on Monday for being sensible and healthy and productive and all that good stuff.

In the meantime - there is an all you can eat pizza buffet going on in the café today, along with an 'ice cream factory' dessert station.

Good morning (yeah, it's morning, right? For those who don't know, I'm in the UK and it's 9pm here) all!
I'm kinda hyped which is fun whilst it lasts, hoping won't crash anytime soon.
I think I'm hiding today. coz' Freya's a tyrant and I'm scared of what she'll do to me for misplacing her key.

I like the menu in the cafe today as it has two of my favourite things, pizza and ice cream.

My secret is that I am a chocoholic. I have to hide it from my family as chocolate gives me migraines so I am not supposed to eat it. :oops:

And all you can eat pizza is for me more of a "you can eat all pizza" so a little heads up @Freya
As for the secret, my biggest secret is that I use sf, and another secret is that when i'm home alone, i sometimes take a glass of my fathers good Scotch, while watching TV (i can drink according to the law, but mot the good Scotch according to my fathers laws )

Hmmm a secret...I never really thought I had any. When I was younger I tried to be sophisticated and knowledgeable, but also candid. I was over at my cousin's one day and at one point I told him I was an open book. He said "Yeah an open book with blank pages". Haha xD

A real secret would be that I'm a WW2 history buff and enjoy learning about the European theatre. As well as the socio-economic policies of the countries before and throughout occupation.

Ooohh!! WWII! What is your take on Operation Market Garden - the largest airborne operation of WWII that was a catastrophic disaster for the Allies?
The popular story told by historians is that Montgomery overlooked some German divisions in the area that ultimately wiped out the incursion - touting it as his greatest military 'defeat'.
The lesser known story is that a Dutch double agent traitor betrayed the plans to the Germans right before it happened so they were able to have enough firepower there to stop the Allies in their tracks.
What bugs me about the traitor is that he apparently died a hero - no-one really knew what had really happened and the media wanted to keep it a secret.
Some records say that his betrayal singlehandedly extended WWII by 6 months!.

I'm a bit late aren't I? My secret is that I use SF and the other secret is that I'm extremely good in Mathematics. And i practice spells and magick ( but none of those spells has ever worked lol)
