Its nearly Friday already again?

I often see people say, yay is Friday or yay its the weekend, today's theme is simple, when you hear those Friday phrases what does it mean to you and also what do you do on the weekend?

Go partying? Drinking alcohol? Chilling with Youtube or Netlix? Stay in bed all day? More time with your SO?

I want details of how the weekend affects the members here, I also notice there are more folks here on the weekends.

for me the weekend means time just me and my daughter to hang out and watch movies and some cleaning so i look forward to it

for me the weekend means, regrouping myself. I feel like i fall behind but I do try to catch up. Weekends are relaxing but they're hard.

It honestly means absolutely nothing to me. I understand some people are off work on the weekends, so they look forward to them. But to me, it's just another day. Which I suppose is good, in a way, because I also don't hate Mondays any more than I hate any other day. But it's also kind of shitty because every day feels pretty much the same. Nothing to ever look forward to.

Weekends are usually pretty empty for me unless I'm volunteering. The Visitor Center is jam-packed on Saturdays and we can receive upwards of 300 visitors by the end of the day.

My mom's birthday is the 20th, so we will be going out to eat and have cake and all that. She didn't want anything, but she always does things for others so she deserves that.
I usually don't do much on the weekends so it's like another day for me.

for me try to go out riding around taking my wife places, and when my 64dodge comes out of storage I always cruise with her or take her to car shows. and for those that look at the weekend as just another day. it could help if you could plan on doing something every weekend like window shopping or something. even when we're bored we find something we can enjoy. good luck to everyone for a hopefully good weekend...mike...

The weekends are the same as every other day for me too, although it's nice having my husband at home.

Not much, brings back memories of when it DID mean something though which was always a huge relief to say the least! I don't do a heck of a lot on the weekend, go to my friend's sometimes or he comes over here & we have dinner & watch a movie or show or something.

Go partying? Drinking alcohol? Chilling with Youtube or Netlix? Stay in bed all day? More time with your SO?
Thought I'd just answer all these too cos I'm kinda bored lol.

Partying - No, not into that & never have been (prob. never will be either just not my kind of thing at all)
Drinking - Nah, can't be doing that w/ my meds.
Youtube/Netflix - No, we don't have Netflix & I don't go on Youtube very much either.
Stay in bed - No, I'd feel way too guilty to do that. Only do that if I'm physically sick.
More time w/ SO - Lol right, me having a SO? Good one. No, there is no SO & most likely never will be but it's fine could be worse doesn't mean I'm a worthless woman so there

Friday means.. Kitty gets to have longgg sleep! I'm always excited to sleep! ^^

At the moment for me the weekend blurs with the rest of the week. A measure of a good day is a day that doesn’t bring any bad news or confrontation. Spending time alone is my new norm and it certainly is less confronting this way. I wish I had something positive to say about weekends as the premise for this discussion seems to invite such as settlement.

Weekend means NO going in to work, getting chores done around the house and going to church. This weekend I have an appointment for taxes to be down. Last weekend it was the dentist. Just all the crap that cant be done during the week.
