Weekend for me this weekend is having long time friends over for dinner to see our new house...and then Sunday with my mother in law. Looking forward to seeing our friends but wish the house cleaning fairies could come Friday night while I'm sleeping...lol.

Weekends are cut and dried - I'm either working or spending time with my son.

I have him this weekend, but have to go into work Sunday afternoon for inventory.

I am a retail store manager so my schedule is very malleable...I do enjoy taking weekdays off and enjoying my favorite outdoor haunts minus the obnoxious crowds 😁

I don't get all giddying about TGIF because my schedule varies. Some weeks my "Friday" is on a Wednesday or Thursday. If I'm not working the actual weekend, it's a time to sleep in and binge on Netflix and popcorn. I may clean. This weekend I'm hanging out with a friend who doesn't drive and needs to get out and do some errands.

thanks for the tag Kiwi. kind of late and so stressed due to this new insurance company that is giving me an extremely hard time by not letting me see any of my providers: PCP, Therapist & Psychiatrist. i think the best i can do is take the weekend opportunity to just try to clear my brain of all that insurance torment. those sweets sure look tempting @BlackOpium . now, do i take just because i can keep it a secret from my PCP? i better not. but i will take my usual tea and shhhh!!! i will take one of those *points at the sweets on the table* but please don’t tell...

This semester I have school Monday through Thursday, so Friday is exciting because it's my first day off of three in a row. I like weekends during the Premier League season because there's usually a Spurs match to watch. Besides going to the pub to watch them, I like to just sort of hang out on weekends.

Its nearly Friday already again?

I often see people say, yay is Friday or yay its the weekend, today's theme is simple, when you hear those Friday phrases what does it mean to you and also what do you do on the weekend?

Go partying? Drinking alcohol? Chilling with Youtube or Netlix? Stay in bed all day? More time with your SO?

I want details of how the weekend affects the members here, I also notice there are more folks here on the weekends.

Saturday I spend all day thinking about when should I take a shower for church on Sunday. Sunday, I spend all morning at church because I'm in the choir and Sunday afternoon I go back to church for the bell choir rehearsal. When I leave church on Sunday afternoon, I think that my Sunday is over. That's my weekend.
