Good morning beautiful café peeps! Happy Thanksgiving to our 'across the pond' members.

@NYJmpMaster is providing a full turkey dinner with pumpkin cheesecake for dessert for all our café patrons today and will be dressed as a pilgrim to really get into the festivities.

@Acy and @Rockclimbinggirl will be refusing to participate in Thanksgiving festivities today on the basis that Canada already had it on October 10th and they are all geared up for Valentines Day by now, and us folks this side of the Atlantic will be providing cold cereal because we don't hold with all this giving thanks anyway ;)

@DrownedFishOnFire @baywasp @Petal @AlexiMarie7 @cgh0991 are on clean-up duty (Ben is a messy cook I heard) and will be fully in charge of midnight snack leftovers.

Todays Challenge: Tell us what you would love to find at 90% off in the Black Friday sales?

Tomorrow is assessment day for the mental health place I will most likely being going to....it's a step up step down program.Tom prevent hospital or early release. I am so anxious and everything else right now. Struggling but chugging along I guess.

Thanks for thanksgiving we dont really do it here either.

At the 90% sales I would stay at home and hide to many people for me thanks hahahaha.

Hope everyone has a nice day today
Take care all

Ooops. I need to go delete the Café thread I started.

@NYJmpMaster I can hardly wait to see that outfit! Pumpkin cheesecake sounds truly delicious. Please post the recipe!

@Freya *sticks tongue out at her* I do not "refuse to participate in US Thanksgiving". Turkey is wonderful anytime; being thankful and grateful for the good things in life is ALWAYS appropriate. Just because Canada celebrates when their harvest is done (earlier because they're farther north!) doesn't mean they would rain on someone else's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Geeeeesh! (lol)

Black Friday 90% Off (daydream) Challenge: A new Toyota Corolla with full insurance for the life of the car. And since it's not for real and I can be greedy, I'd also like a new MacBook. :)

Ah, daydreams! *wanders away wishing it could happen*

@Freya I do not refuse to participate in Thanksgiving either

And I am not ready for Valentines Day. However as it is snowing here today, I am ready for Christmas.

For black Friday, a dream would be a new laptop, a car, washer and dryer. Oh and a new bigger apartment so thay everything will fit :p

Hey all. Happy Thanksgiving if you're celebrating. Not sure if my previous plan I discussed before is going to happen. The restaurant we were thinking about is closed. But it'll be ok either way.
For Black Friday, I guess I'd mostly like to find gift cards for restaurants/grocery stores at 90%. If I can even afford that. While I'm dreaming I'll find a backup laptop at 90% off that won't die on me like my old Chromebook did and magically be able to afford that too.

I would like to find 90 percent off in my hairdressers lol or the beauty salon. But being realistic I'd like 90 percent off a hair straightener, I cannot find my one.
Was at the dentist today and got my tooth fixed thank goodness as it was driving me crazy then got a wash and blow dry in the hairdressers :) Now I am just multi tasking between cooking my dinner, planning my meals, pm'ing here and helping my sister with an assignment which is very f'ing hard.
Sure I will do the clean up, i'm in the mood for it :)

Dinner today is cod with lots of vegetables and a few potatoes :)

90% off lifetime fitness lifetime membership would be nice for me

Other than that goal today is not to kill a relative or two, maybe refraining from bopping one on the head with a newspaper as well. Been cleaning up the kitchen area sterlizing it with bleach and soon going out to grab a lunch as turkey wont be ready for a good 5 hours

I get to have a mammogram tomorrow, and maybe a haircut. If I can move. I woke up to extreme pain on my right back just above my cute large ass. That was around 630. Pooping helped some but created other issues, gotta love IBS. Mid-back above my too cute ass starting hurting. Colon kept dripping moisture. Thats happened before. I finally drug myself out of bed around 230. Moving around seems to help the back a bit. Am now trying cold packs alternating with warm. Back may just be an issue of spending too much time in bed. But bed is where it is warm. I am most concerned about being able to move in the morning and get to my appointment to have my too cute twin peaks examined. Also have some nausea, touch of flu maybe. Anyway, no big calorie consumption for me today. But had nothing planned so no harm done. In the spirit of finding one thing to be grateful for even in this mess. Am very glad it is NOT a work day and I do have the rest of the week off.

And what would I want if it was 90% off....a new body....if such a thing were available.

Or a new Apple laptop with a warm body to help me get it set up. Figure I have better chance of the new body!

Sadly, while there was ample turkey dinner and all the fixings , we ran out of the pumpkin cheese cake and that was not available for here- I can attest it was actually quite good, like a much lighter , somewhat sweeter pumpkin pie - but it is very very rich and recommend have coffee or cold glass milk with it to so it is not so rich you can,t finish a whole piece. Somehow still manage to decide to get another piece later though .... hmm...

Wife got the recipe from a FB thing - but this is the recipe for any interested -

I'm proud to say our family get together with 20+ people (counting kids) no yelling or drama that went on in this household while one of my cousin got a laugh out of videoing a neighbors thanksgiving dispute between two brothers and stolen tools. Smooth! My father usually starts drama was on his best behvaior

I don't use my mobile often but it seems to be on the fritz, so I suppose it wouldn't hurt to get one in the deals.

Honestly, I don't really have any tangible desires at the moment; I was thinking this recently in relation to Christmas as well. Oh, a hug..not for purchase but I guess that's tangible?

I stuffed my face so much yesterday (ahead of schedule I guess) that the Universe forced me to exercise today by making me a) lost and having to walk the length of a very long road...twice....in heels which I quite unfortunately happened to be wearing, and b) missing a bus so taking another half hour walk....in flats this time.

My feet are very unhappy at the moment, and feel like they were minutes away from blisters.

I have been massaging them and I am now snuggled up (alone) now though.

Grrr, I was editing this post when I realised I forgot all about cleaning up (and to correct typo)....but...time expired.

So...back to bed for me. Sorry @cgh0991 and rest of the cleanup crew for leaving you hanging...and thanks!
