The theme today; its Valentines day next week, does Valentine's day mean anything to you? Did you ever have a Valentine? Please share your Valentine's day stories....

So, when I was with my last ''Valentine'' many years ago he asked me to write my OWN card😢 , I have no happy valentines day stories, please tell us all about yours ...

...and the second theme is; what have you done in your life to make you feel like you are a good person? As for me, supporting others, being kind and generous makes me feel like a good person.

Third theme: What do you think about the Area 51 UFO story? I think its true after many hours of reading and watching documentaries about it? Do you believe in extraterrestrial life? Why all the secrets behind it?

C'mon sit down and chat about whatever, enjoy the goodies and enjoy the mix of themes, something for everyone :D

Hi and thank you for inviting @BlackOpium *hug... a very interesting topic.

1. Valentine's Day. So I never had Valentine's Day, so this day is for me like everyone else, and sometimes I don't even see it and have no stories associated with it.

2. "what have you done in your life to make you feel like you are a good person?"

Hmm I don't know if I'm a good person. But I try to be polite and polite and help people who are less fortunate than me.

3. I'm a science fiction movie man and I love extraterrestrial films. And I'm sure extraterrestrial life exists. In my opinion, they are on the ground among us. In my opinion, secrecy is also due to the fact that people are not yet ready to accept the truth at the moment (but maybe something darker is behind it). Theories I read and saw countless. I would very much like to meet an alien civilization.👽👽

Hugs.

No, I don't have any nice Valentine's Day stories either.

Yeah, the same for me. I guess most of the good things I've done in my life have been the posts that I've made on SF.
Third theme: What do you think about the Area 51 UFO story?
I'm very skeptical.

1. I've never had a valentine as no one has ever loved a pathetic loser like me.

2. I'm not a good person - no one loves me so why should I give a damn about anyone else.

3. If aliens did visit they should come back and kill me to put me out of my misery.

I only ever had one Valentine. The only relationship I've ever been in was like a month long, my senior year of high school, and it happened to be right around February. My boyfriend and I (this was before my transition... started to have more serious doubts about my gender after we broke up... but anyway I bring this up just to mention that we were pretty much a straight-appearing couple, though I knew I was bisexual back then too*) went on our first and only date to the mall. Not on Valentine's Day but around then. He ended up buying me a My Chemical Romance tee shirt at Hot Topic. That was a few months after their album Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys came out, and I was really obsessed with it, though I'd liked MCR for a while before. We went out to the nearby park and cuddled on a bench for a while until I started shivering. Then we went back to the mall food court and he bought me a pretzel. I later bought him a picture frame because he was always taking photos. That was the only real date I've ever been on.

I always try to listen and be polite and considerate and a good friend. Don't know if that makes me a good person, but I hope it at least makes me likable.

Haven't put much thought into Area 51 so I can't really say anything educated or enlightening about it.

[*This means we didn't face any of the homophobic abuse we would have no doubt gotten at my high school had we been a "gay" couple. We did have people not liking us as a couple and someone said "ew" when we walked by holding hands once if I'm remembering correctly, but that's probably because we were two unpopular nerdy/geeky/whatever kind of loser weirdos we were. We first got to know each other at a Model United Nations Convention our school's Model UN club went to in Philadelphia. Just an example of us not being "cool" in the traditional sense.]

Sorry if I said way too much :P

I wonder what ever happened to that guy since high school graduation.

No real Valentine's for me although I have always seemed to connect with others like me who are schizoid, avoidant, asperger's personality, etc and can do things together without strings attached or feeling an obligation like friends or girlfriend boyfriend. Spend some time with a common interest for a bit and then go our ways until we get together again.

I do smile when I get a kick out of the fact that children and animals like me. I can't be the ogre I claim that I am. I like them also because critters and kids can sense if you are an asshole. Obviously they don't think I am. The thing that most pleases me is I learned all the CPR techniques and years ago when a little girl came age 2 close to drowning I knew what to do to help her. She is now a grown up 8 years old and calls me her big, fuzzy teddy bear which I find adorable. :)

Area 51. I am still in contact with my home planet and we know Area 51 is a hoax. LOL

Still Wednesday here...I probably have some good Valentine stuff because I was married but don't remember it. The one memory I have of an anniversary was the last class of grad school and I had an assignment due the following day of my anniversary. My hubby cooked dinner, I came away from my studies to eat and celebrate, and then went back to doing the assignment. It was nice because he rarely cooked and gave me space since he knew school was important to me.

I think I am a good person. I have lent money to folks without expecting it to be returned (although it would be nice ) but no one has. i am lucky that at the times it was no financial hardship because I helped people out of difficult (for them) situations and gave them a helping hand. I still fall into the trap. I care about friends and people. I have done a lot of volunteering. When I retire in 6 years i will go back to volunteering.

I am like @KM76710 with Area 51. Nice to return home at some point.

@BlackOpium thank you for the invite
I don't celebrate Valentine's Day, don't know that I ever have.
My late husband and I didn't need a special day, we used to do nice things for each other all the time.
what have you done in your life to make you feel like you are a good person?
Hmm my underlying schema is still that I am a bad person but I can rationalise that I love animals more than people. That I try to be polite, friendly. That for the most part I try really hard to be non judgemental because I can't truly understand what another person has live through. Weirdly I'm not sure I even hate anyone, not even people who have harmed me.

Area 51 I don't know enough to form an opinion

Well I got up after midnight so I can do this cafe now. lol

My nephew's birthday is on Valentine's Day, so that makes it a good day for me. I don't really have any stories from the past, but I have my boyfriend even if he is far away.

I think I'm a decent enough person because I like to help people any way I can.

I'm sure that aliens probably exist, but the government isn't just going to let people go and liberate them. lol

Did you ever have a Valentine? - Nope
Please share your Valentine's day stories.... heheheh *nono*bleh

2...and the second theme is; what have you done in your life to make you feel like you are a good person? As for me, supporting others, being kind and generous makes me feel like a good person.

That's a hard one. I might have to consult my log book over this to see if there such a thing has ever occured.;)

3Third theme: What do you think about the Area 51 UFO story? I think its true after many hours of reading and watching documentaries about it? Do you believe in extraterrestrial life? Why all the secrets behind it?

I wouldn't be suprised if it was actually true. However, as so many people are aware of Area 51, all the interesting funky shit has probably been moved out of that place years ago. If anyone were to attempt to open up that place to take a look inside, chances are all they'll find is some bloke sitting on a wooden deckchair wearing just his boxer shorts drinking cans of beer and reading the sports pages of the newspapers.

1. I don't care about Valentine's Day. My husband probably won't remember nor care, so it doesn't matter to me. My little (well, perhaps not so little anymore) pup is my valentine. And it's his 8 month birthday today! I sang him a happy birthday song a little while ago; he was so confused at what the hell I was doing lol. 🐶🎂

2. Who says I need to feel like a good person? I'm niether good nor bad, just another human trying to make it through another day.

3. I can't say I fully believe in anything until there is scientofic proof of it. Do I think they could exist? Sure. But I don't know this for a fact.

Thank you for opening the cafe and tagging me @BlackOpium.

1) I remember going to a movie with girlfriends to see "My Bloody Valentine", 1981 and screaming and someone in the theater kept telling us to beee quiet. We thought it was hysterical.

Last year had a couples dinner in which I decorated the table. Sad that we are broken up and he is to, but for the best.

2) I dont know if I'm a good person because I dont always have perfect thoughts, but I step-up when a friend or family member is sick, while others turn their back. I try and I care. I've been told I'm a good person. Tough question, ha.

3)I haven't delved into that topic much @BlackOpium. Hopefully they will give us some tough love and get our planet back on track.

PS. Dont tell, but we are hiding one right here on SF *shh hint, he's very extra Happy-Thursday-With-Heart.gif
