If you don't mind me asking...I mean Spain is totally different from where you live now...so I don't know...I think I'd die in a week where you are. What do you like in both countries?
Spain is about beauty. Beautiful language, spoken and written. Beautiful people. Beautiful places. Mind blowing food. Gorgeous women, who are even more beautiful because they have no idea that they're heart-stoppingly beautiful.

Swarthy, fairly good looking men.

Hey, Sunspots. I like The Cure, too. You mentioned Greece, are you a fan of classical mythology, too?
Excellent! Another Cure fan :)
I always thought I'd end up running off into the sunset with Robert Smith and we'd have lots of little babies with black hair and red lipstick... ;)
I absolutely adore Greece. My dream is to retire there, open a shop, have a little boat and a few goats. I'm rubbish with Greek mythology but I do love listening to it, just can't seem to retain the information. I must try to rectify that if I ever get my dream.

Tysm for saying those kind things about me @Autumn1973 I really appreciate that so much! :) Also I think it is comforting to people just to read that others can relate to what they are saying and that they feel a similar way. It helps a lot just to know you aren't alone and actually hearing (or reading!) another person saying they are either currently feeling the same way, or have been there at some point. It's great if people are good with the whole "words of comfort" kind of thing but I think people understand if people aren't. If you just say that (that you don't feel you are good at giving words of comfort) then I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I've sometimes had to basically just say that. I think some nice things that can be done are letting people know that you are there for them if they want or need to talk, that you hope things will get better for them and that you're sending them hugs of love and comfort. Please never underestimate the power you have as a person in this world with your own experiences and how much comfort it might give to others by simply talking about your own feelings and/or experiences. We're all damaged here in some way (and probably most people who aren't on here too for that matter!) but I don't think that means it lessens our ability to be able to help others. I think helping others can often help us help ourselves a lot too. :) *hugPS- I agree about the Star Wars trilogy comment, for sure! :) ;)

Ty to everyone who replied here and/or said ty for the tags, ysw, tysm for replying here I enjoyed reading everyone's answers a lot! :) *hug

Thank you, JMG. *hugThat means a lot to me. Knowing that it's possible to make a difference - to have a positive impact - by being able to relate, to hear with our hearts and not just our ears, and that it's okay to not have all the answers.

Hope you're having a nice weekend.

What kind of a shop do you want to open? And do you have a favorite Deity? Mine is Athena.

Hey @JMG i’m so zoomed out! and face to faced out too! sorry i didn’t get to your café until now. its been like this since wednesday, practically one thing right after another. its been virtual mh provider zooms meetups, and other related stuff. all just happening around the same time plus i had to see my PCP yesterday! then i must have mentioned a thousand times how overwhelmed with thought my little model t brain is lately. now there is another one or two threads to attend to too - at least!!!

so sorry if i sort of rush through these Qs...

1. What are some things in your life you are most grateful for? my kids!; the dog i once had many years ago whom i was just thinking about; the thought that i might actually finally be on a good road now...

2. What are some things that make you happy? well... the above in #1, stilton blue cheese, sushi, a long hot shower when i need to relax. music - amazing music , dandelions, other wild flowers and wildlife, knowing how to bake a great birthday cake and lots of other things too.

3. What is a happy memory for you? the best memories may very well be of that dog i mentioned above; the stories i mention below; and a little surprise party that was thrown for me many many years ago ... so unexpected...

4. If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you go that you would be the happiest? hmm, let me go everywhere so i can see which one does make me the happiest and then i’ll tell you and go there again. is that ok?

5. What are some positive/good things you have done in your life? went off to college. learned things that utilize my art and craft abilities. apparently story telling... when my kids were little i’d “read” them bedtime stories that i actually made up on the spur of the moment. each son had his own particular cast of characters and as each fell asleep (or more often stayed awake while i fell asleep in mid sentence), they’d scream out “rrrrrread!!!!!!!!!!!” because they realized i was dozing off, and i’d awaken and have to resume. but now something like 14 - 21 years later they’ve both told me of the happy moments those stories were to them. i guess that was something good.

sorry, gotta rush off to another thread!!!
lets not forget these...🌞🌞🌞
