Hey everyone! Thought I'd post a cafe for today. I've decided to put some questions in this one along with the collage. Feel free to pick a pic and answer the q's, or just 1 or the other, or none if you aren't feeling up for answering about anything. It's great when people come by to say "hi" too of course, always!

1. How are you feeling right now?
2. Do you have any plans for today?
3. If someone were to post a black and white collage for a cafe, would you like that or think the "black and white" (ie no color) was a bit boring?
4. Are there any themes you think would be really great to have for a cafe?
5. Are there any themes you really would NOT like for a cafe?

Ok so those are the questions then, and as always no pressure to answer "all" of them, or even any if you'd prefer not to

Ok now for my answers to the q's, lol

1. How are you feeling right now?
So many mixed feelings, hard to really even begin to express them. But ok, I will say "some" of them, conflicting as they are:
- Happy and excited for my sis, yet also envious and sad.
- Relieved about something, but also sad about it too.
- Frustrated about some things, yet also strangely kinda indifferent and almost "numb" as well. Ya, pretty confusing to be in my head right now. Oh well.

2. Do you have any plans for today?
No, not really. Should really go out and get some important things done, but can already tell energy level is still not gonna be very high.

3. If someone were to post a black and white collage for a cafe, would you like that or think the "black and white" (ie no color) was a bit boring?
Really unsure about this one lol. I like black and white pics, but kinda do prefer them in color. If lots of people say they'd like it then I will do one sometime soon with a collage of only black and white pics

4. Are there any themes you think would be really great to have for a cafe?
Kinda asked this one mostly to "see what other people say about it" lol, I'm personally happy whenever a new cafe is posted, period, so themes have never been a very big deal to me. There's always lots on my mind and always hoping to be able to have some conversations with people about things, especially to do with opinions and theories about things

5. Are there any themes you really would NOT like for a cafe?
Yes, spiders. They scare the living daylights outta me. I can barely tolerate even just looking at a picture of them they scare me so much lol. Aside from that, I guess one that was depressing (like that had a question like "what's one of your worst, most painful memories?" or something along those lines, lol) or that was kinda "negative" in some way. Oh, or a major bragging one like that was all about material wealth/assets people had and things like that. I don't think anyone would ever do cafes with those kinds of themes though since they're all a bit "heavy" and the whole point of cafes is to be "light, fun and social" lol

i can't make a decision on a picture. The 1st one is peaceful to me because i love hiking and the 2nd reminds me of my daughter when she danced.

B/W has it's own beauty. Many details can't be seen till you see a B/W of it.

Anything anyone decides to open is great with me.

Going out to have my own "me time". I just want to be alone enjoying the day by myself after having a frustrating day

I would prefer colors, but I think it would be quiet interesting

I like all the pics, but especially the stairs and the flowers.

2 just school, maybe a walk
3 I like black and white and sepia toned. It adds a certain mystery.
4 I like the cafes for the social aspect. All the themes I've experienced thus far have been great

Good morning! Thanks for opening the café @JMG ! I like all the pictures in your collage, and favourites are the bunnies (I love bunnies!) and the door with the fancy “latticework” (??). I also like the additional pictures you added.

Questions:
1. How are you feeling right now?
I’m feeling good, still have a wee bit of that “waking up” feeling.

2. Do you have any plans for today?
I’m working on a PowerPoint presentation.

Music Cafés have been done before, but are also fun…maybe separate cafés for different styles of music: classic rock; folk;
classical; heavy metal; rap etc.
Could also do butterflies, flowers, animals (wild, pets, fantasy), flowers, architecture, “ancient ruins,” nature/natural settings,
hobbies, sports, books…

5. Are there any themes you really would NOT like for a cafe?
Spiders.

Hello! Thanks for the tag & open.
I will pick the 1st pic. It has an Ansel Adams air to it. 😃

1- I started strong, now feeling tired & sleepy.
2- I have done some gardening. Will do more planting later.
3- Ansel Adams is a favorite of mine. At one time I only had his art hung in my house. I like b&w.
4/5- theme, no theme - it’s all good.

Had decent me time today! And when I got home everyone was asleep so I didn't have to talk any of them. And I could just take a rest. I wish I could do this every day. I hope I would find a job soon so I don't have to deal with this shit any longer.

Recovering from nightmare, and waking up. Hungry. Lonely and working to keep thoughts of fear to a minimum. Rain is happening and I'm enjoying the soothing sounds of plinks, burbly drips with the calming soft swish.
2. Do you have any plans for today?
Yes

Not at all.
4. Are there any themes you think would be really great to have for a cafe?
Oceans, lakes, tairns or cirques, rivers, creeks, marshland, estuaries, mangrove areas
5. Are there any themes you really would NOT like for a cafe?
I wouldn't like it to be about war or violence.
