Good morning everyone....today's special are spanish omelette, french toast or poached eggs and beans or a bacon butty (bacon sandwich)...

I have had better days, I have had 4 hours of sleep and yesterday my diet went south but today is a new day with no mistakes in it yet (not that eating that chocolate was actually a mistake lol)...

@AlexiMarie7 and @Brian777 are on clean up duty.

Today's challenge: Do 20 minutes of exercise to release those endorphins, go on you can do it :) Report back and let us know did you mentally feel any better.

I am really angry right now and can't figure out why. Maybe it's the assignments I have to catch up with, or maybe it's the fact that I have only about $2.52 in my bank account. It's almost the next month though, plus I'm supposed to be getting about 200 more from the school soon, which I will use to first pay off my almost $80 library fine. I have to save the rest for renting next semester's textbooks, but it probably won't be enough, so I'll have to cut into my food money come January. I really hope my case manager can help me get food stamps because I feel like I'm hardly living sometimes.
My legs have been hurting when I sit or lie down too, probably because I've been doing too much of that.

I also didn't sleep much, @Petal. I just couldn't for some reason.

@baywasp

If you called the library and negotiated your fine it will probably be waived they do it all of the time for broke students unless you lost a expensive book

@Petal

No change. Still a fireball of anger inside me after 20 minutes excerise.

Everyone else have a good day.

I lost a few books, but they weren't particularly expensive afaik. I talked to a staff member who cut the fine just about in half by removing the processing fees and billing fees and leaving me with nothing but the cost of the actual book.. They even lifted the hold on my account temporarily on the day I was to sign up for classes because a fine that big blocks that functionality. The staff member I talked to discussed it with another and told me they'd done all they could.

@Petal I sort of exercised a little. Walked a little less than a mile each direction. Not particularly strenuous, but I wasn't really feeling it anyway. I started feeling suicidal on my walk and am still not doing too well, but my legs were feeling better at the time.

Does walking around and taking stairs count? It is cold and grey here. It was a bit icy this morning due to freezing rain, so not the best day for going out for walk.

Yes sure of course it counts :)

I have just been for a short walk and feel so good right now. :)

I feel there may be some options to get textbooks for 'free'. Can you inquire of any students a year ahead perhaps. or also scour nearby thrift stores books sections. I think foreign students often donate/sell for dirt cheap.

Also I saw this:

Well I rolled over, saw today's challenge and knew it would not be happening. Then, I ended up in some pain. Not sure if related. Either way challenge failed. But Thursday is another day--I know I won't tomorrow.

Things are relatively crap around me; dealing with more failed efforts, and drowned hope. But I am relatively calm. Sad, but calm enough.

Water was shut off and no warning. The landlord is "fixing" something, but he needs to be done soon. I hope it is back on so I can actually shower today.

I'm in the throws of one of my meltdown days. Maybe it's a good thing I'm meeting with my pdoc tomorrow. Hard to say. Usually I look forward to it, but not so much this time. TOO much to discuss.

@Petal Does taking my dog on two unnecessary walks count? She did her usual whine and dance that tells me she needs to go out to take care of business but NEVER did!!! :mad:

Pissy that I gotta wait another 3 years before qualifying for hunting permit because of mental health issues. Wondering if I could talk to a lawyer and get this stupid rule my state has on getting a special permit to even buy ammo it bars anyone who visited a mental healh facility within 5 years. Discrimination
