hello everyone, sit down and lets think of all our favourite memories....

The nostalgic cafe it is today. Positive, positive, positive!!!


I have lots of great memories as I had a fantastic childhood. My absolute best memory ever is getting a gold medal when I was approx 8 years old for a dancing competition, I practiced every single day for ages for that county competition. It was in front of a big audience in a hotel and I was a fantastic dancer, I couldn't dance now if you paid me but never say never...

I have many memories and many that I can picture in my mind and can go into great detail and depth in my mind but i can never put them to paper as it will all come out jumbled but know that I do have many great memories and remember and have regular flash backs to my past!

All my childhood memories with family are nice. Walking in the countryside, going shopping. Being on stage, and seeing my Auntie and Father in the audience.

Meeting someone I connected with on a deep level, a few years ago. Even though we're not still in contact.

Hmm.. A happy memory?
I didn’t have an easy childhood but I definitely have a few good memories such as playing with my grandma or waking up to my grandma making my favorite dish for breakfast. She somehow always knew when I am about to wake up and got early enough to start preparing breakfast for me. I remember I woke up one morning with the smell of it filling the small apartment and her standing over the stove, I went behind her and gave her a huge hug... She was the best

My memories. I remember before I enter young adult hood, I was never lonely. Like even if I was being neglected, abuse days... My friends didn't make feel worse, they're always there for me and that is how kitty found my big sisters too, we became family.

I remember visiting my grandma when I was small. I must have been very young as she died when I was three. She had a huge rosemary bush by her front door and to this day I still find the smell of rosemary comforting. She was always sitting in a dark green wingback armchair and had the perfect lap for cuddles. I felt safe with her

I just woke up and my head feels heavy or something and I can't decide if I should get up or stay. But I like this café so let's see ... Thanks of course Black Opium for the café and tag. My mind is not up and running yet but what came to mind first is seltzer bottles. Like this
i really wish they still had these. seems like old things were beautiful and now its just throw away junk!

so maybe more a little later if i finally wake up. happy 4th everyone!!!

My favorite childhood memory? I don't know, I didn't have a normal childhood, never had too many friends, my mother was (and she still is) an asshole. I didn't have a close relationship with the rest of my family, they all lived far from me or they simply couldn't stand my mom. My dad worked a lot so I didn't see him too much. Almost the only close one to me was my little brother.

My best memory would be when I was just a kid, I had a dog, he was huge but lovely, I remember that my brother and I used to play with him all day.

Thanks for opening @BlackOpium and a great theme...despite the ups/downs/blind curves in my life I feel fortunate to have some great memories...realizing that most were when I was a pre-adult...time with my grandmother and her wonderful funny stories of her life and the endless bowl of m&m's by my bed...as an adult I guess i would go with my wedding day which still remember like yesterday...even though over 20 years ago...
