I noticed that the cafe wasn't yet opened for the day so I thought I'd do the honours. We are serving free milk and cookies today!!!

Today's theme is: What is your favourite food? Mine has to be pizza!!

I am totally with you on pizza @Butterfly but the real question is.... Who's your favourite out of the big 3? Domino's, Pizza hut or Papa John's? Or do you know a place where you live that does better ones than them? Stuffed crust? Pineapple on pizza? So many questions.....

My kebab shop does good pizza. But out of the big 3 I'd have to say pizza hut is my favourite. I do like stuffed crust. I ike pineapple on pizza but

Oh, no-no-no!!!!! ms butterfly 🦋 you’re completely wrong here.Trust me = PIZZA 🍕 is only the correct answer 364 days of the year (unless that year is a “leap-er!”) ;D iLike dang near anything on them so long as it doesn’t belong on its own, or thought 💭 of as a separate entity: i.e. ‘steak; turkey; goat cheese 🧀...’ you get the drift! Brilliant thread idea 💡 by-the-way (I was going to use “bye,” in place of “way,” but I wouldn’t want to confuse anybody. That is my only and only goal on these premise (s)! PEACE ✌️ mrb

I grew up on Pizza Hut! Basically tastes like home. And no, that is not a sad 😢 story. . I’ve only just recently discovered Hawaiian 🌺 holy frick!!!

We're lucky to have an excellent Italian restaurant near us out in the middle of nowhere and they do takeaway pizza! Being an authentic Italian, they only do a few toppings and my favourite is buffalo mozzarella and gorgonzola - simple but delicious.

If I'm going for a Domino's or one from the kebab shop I always have pepperoni, mushrooms, sweetcorn and pineapple (I know, I'm sorry to all the pineapple haters).

But probably my favourite food is Greek. But somehow it never tastes right here. It has to be eaten in the open air under a pergola covered in grape vines overlooking the sea and accompanied by incredibly rough red wine served in chunky glasses

@Sunspots I agree wholeheartedly about Greek food. I'm going to Cyprus in September for my 30th. Can't wait to eat delicious Cypriot and Greek food.

My favourite food is Roast Lamb with fresh peas and roast potatoes from the garden. Also needs roasted onions, carrots, parsnip, pumpkin, kumera (sweet potato). Then with mint sauce on top. Oh yummy yummy *bleh

Chicken fried steak for me and must have mashed potatoes, some type of home made bread and lots of cream gravy.

Greek is another favorite and we have always had a place or two in the area. Mexican is great but in Texas it is more Tex-Mex which is typically a bit different from what is served in Mexico and a bit spicier. You also can never go wrong with cheeseburgers and either onion rings or French fries.

Difficult choice here, as I don't have one favourite food, but several

Pizzas are awesome, personally I prefer those thin crusts numbers, loaded with pepperoni, cheeses, spicy beef, onions, peppers and jalapenos. Also, cold pizza in the morning makes for an excellent breakfast
But then, as already mentioned, there's the kebab. Oh yes, that mystic delight that calls out to so many, especially on those late nights after being on the lash. Slithers of undefined kebab meat, delicately layered into a freshly warmed pitta bread along with saladings and then finished off with a gentle lathering of the obligatory chilli sauce.

But then, there's also Chinese food, and what about a banging hot curry with enough heat to make your nose run and your arse burn later?

Hmmm too many choices
