This is a picture from the movie "16 Blocks," where Eddie Bunker, played by Mos Def, poses in front of the bakery he opened.
Oddly enough, the window doesn't advertise cakes, but I bet he makes them anyway.
16 Blocks represents an oddity in my life. I watched it on DVD for the first time, and then I went right back to the beginning and watched it a second time immediately.
Maybe not my favorite film, but one that I like recommending to people. I enjoy the simple premise that the two main characters only have to go 16 blocks during the course of the movie, but it turns out so much more difficult than they expected. They had a few different endings planned from what I have read, and while they director chose the most sentimental of them, it still makes for good viewing.
Bruce Willis stars in it too. Oddly enough he is in another film that I consider one of my favorites, "Sin City." I heard the sequel to that film was so bad that I have avoided watching it because I want to be able to watch the first one without it feeling tarnished.
Oh and speaking of Willis, there are all the Die Hard movies, all of which are great, except the last one, which is probably just as bad as Sin City 2 lol.
