Shit you're not diminishing MY personal supply. I haven't bought a jar of the stuff in ages. Bought some when I went to see Lu the first time? She picked some up, it seems, for apples and such. But aside of that I hadn't had it in a few years. If it was in the house I'd probably eat the shit with a spoon as soon as any other way. It's basically candy.
It can be done, just sayin

1) have you tried Nutella? Do you like
it?
Yes, and lets just say I won't be going back for a second helping.

2) do you tune into the weather or just wing it, look out the windows? Have a favorite weather person?
Bit of both to be honest. I don't have a favourite weather person, but there used to be this one who I knew the moment he was on the tv, the weather forecast for the next few days were going to be shite.

3) have you ever played, or have a fun memory of you in the rain?
I played football in the rain in my youger days. If we had won, then they would've been fun memories*bleh

4) optional. If you could forgive someone, who would it be?
I'm going to have to give that some serious thought to see who's worthy of my forgiveness *huh
*hysterical To #4.

Thanks for the tag @Lane
I love Nutella. My mom has spent a fair amount of time in Europe (when she was younger mostly) so she was familiar with it even before it became quite as popular as it is in the US now. She used to have a lot more trouble finding it in stores.

I use weather apps and Google to tell me about the weather. I never watch weather/the news or anything else like that anymore, but I did as a kid because my parents had it on. I never had a favorite weather person, but I think it's funny that one time we saw a local newscaster or weather person or something at the grocery store or whatever, and it felt almost like seeing a movie star because not a lot interesting happened in the area where I grew up.

I've played in the rain; I liked jumping in puddles and stuff, but I don't have any particular memory I associate with rain.

Similar to @AFlower I need to forgive myself. I personally find that far more difficult than forgiving others.
I understand it, it’s a tough battle. Sending you hugs and good luck on your journey of finding forgiveness for yourself *hug I’m sure you’ll succeed

I suppose it depends on your definition of forgiveness as well. If it makes you feel bad in any way, then yes, it's probably better to make peace with it. It also depends if you believe and hope for the person not to do that mistake again. Forgiving doesn't mean things are back to normal, as if nothing ever happened. Perhaps you'll never have a relationship with that person again, perhaps you'll never see them again, but then ask yourself the question if they deserve to be given the opportunity to forgive themselves, which sometimes never happens anyway. I forgive because I believe people can change. If they don't, then they'll screw things up whether I forgive them or not. I just maximize the chances of them becoming better, or something like that. Though in most cases (and the worst cases) I forgave people without telling them, it's just a feeling in me, so perhaps it is purely selfish, I don't know. *bleh
You're not selfish, you give people a chance @Auri. I've forgiven people close to me, a sister for her past actions, t hi ngs she diesnt even realize, due to addictions, etc. Others cant ever be forgiven for hurting my mother or swaying my child's thinking. I have lessened my anger. Everyday people I like a lot.

People can change if they care about a parent, child...if they're actually human and a psychopath. I think that the ones I have trouble forgiving are evil, if there is such a thing.

Questionssss.

1) have you tried Nutella? Do you like
it?

2) do you tune into the weather or just wing it, look out the windows? Have a favorite weather person?

3) have you ever played, or have a fun memory of you in the rain?

4) optional. If you could forgive someone, who would it be?

Tagging @JMG @Livelife @extraterrestrialone @charlietgirl @cymbele @BlackOpium @sassy123 @arbitrarybarry @Nick @Acy @may71

If anyone would like to help me tag I'd appreciate it.
Thank you for the tag @Lane :)
1. I will pass on answering the Nutella question on the grounds it may incriminate me here.
2. Weather forecast is like an integral part of how I start the day. it's so weird here it can change in a 24 hour period so it's good to know the possibility of shorts to coat and muffler in a matter of hours certain times of the year. Like today for example.
3.shower with a friend day.....I like the George Clooney idea although I think Marcus Lemonis is a bit cuter and would be more fun.
4. As an adult I had fun in the rain...my husband and I used to love to go out hiking and walking in it. I only got in trouble for it when I was a kid.
5. Forgiving myself would be at the top of the list.

Shout out to these 2 for National Weatherpersons Day.

I grew up watching them, now realize adoring them. Sam Champion left weather broadcasting in 2016 after over 20 years to pursue other things.

Al Roeper with a big personality shown here breaking a Guinness world record of 36 hours of straight weather broadcasting to raise money for charity.

Miss watching you guys. View attachment 30118 View attachment 30119 View attachment 30120
I miss Sam in that spot although see him now in other places... and Al Roker is a cutie.

2 memories in the rain. Exploring when my children were ages 5 and under through the mangrove trails, it was misty and the water was streaming rapidly. View attachment 30115 View attachment 30116 View attachment 30117

When my son and I went to Walmart, it was torrential down pour, we counted to three, and ran into the store, cracking up the whole way. He was like 15 or so.

I always have to upload a google pic *dunno2
I'm smiling looking at the mangrove trees and roots....I was introduced to them on the beaches in Mexico a couple of years ago and think they are a spectacular plant

Yes, I know which ones you mean. Narcissistic personalities, which includes antisocials (psychopaths). I "forgive" them, but I also know they can't change. I don't really know what to do with these ones, apart from avoiding them as much as possible.

Ty for the tags @Lane & @Kiwi2016 :) Also ty for opening the cafe @Jayjay289 I'm confused about why people think Lane opened it when the topic was posted by him??? Lol anyway glad it is open & now I'll answer the q's :)

1) have you tried Nutella? Do you like it?
Yes I've tried it & like it but rarely eat it since it's not really something you can put on just anything. I'm kinda fussy about what I add chocolate to I guess.

2) do you tune into the weather or just wing it, look out the windows? Have a favorite weather person?

I check it online pretty much every day so I know if it's supposed to rain & also how warm or not it's going to be.
No I don't have a fave weather person cos I only ever check it online.

3) have you ever played, or have a fun memory of you in the rain?

Not that I can remember sorry lol.

4) optional. If you could forgive someone, who would it be?

No idea what to say for this one, I like to think there is no one I haven't forgiven but maybe my stepmother for being so evil and sadistic to not only me but my beloved sis when we were kids.

Thanks for the mention @Lane 😊

I have never tried Nutella, but I have friends who rave about it, so maybe I will pick some up the next time I am at the store!

I used to watch the weather forecast, now I refer to a built-in weather app on the phone, so I guess I sort of wing it.

I have lots of fun memories playing in the rain as a kid .. one that stands out is when I was still living in Pittsburgh. I was around 7 or 80, and lived at the end of a cul-de-sac.

It was pouring rain in the middle of summer, and I and a bunch of other neighborhood kids decided it would be fun to play kickball in the middle of a downpour... It was an interesting game!

If I could forgive someone, it would probably be my dad, for allowing my psycho mother to emotionally abuse me and my siblings for so many years and being too much of a cowardly doormat to stick up for us and do something about it.

She ( my deceased incubator ), I will never forgive..

Lol to 7 or 80!

Makes me mad, hearing about your mother. Don't blame you one bit. I'm an advocate of an eye for an eye!

I'm sorry about your stepmom. I'm thinking it was stupid of me to ask this now, bringing up bad memories. I'm sorry @JMG and others *shy. Feeling so angry right now, I'd like to get all those abusers into a room and.....
