What do you like most about the Cafes?
Like the least?
How can we make it a better experience for you?
Would you rather spend a weekend in a tropical paradise or a snow haven?
Would you rather speak 10 languages or play 10 instruments?
Would you rather always be two hours early or 20 minutes late?
First of all, just want to say that I love all these questions, very fun!
1. The questions (especially fairly “light” and fun ones like these are definitely a thing I love most about cafes. I like it if they have a theme, if they ask how I’m feeling, what I’m thinking about (encourages dialogue and general expression of those things, always means a LOT to me when people express an interest/caring about those things).
Also, similar to what Ash600 said - I like that it’s a distraction from whatever might be going on with me, and also that it’s a place where hopefully some social interaction/responsiveness can happen as well. I always deeply love and appreciate that, more than words can say
I guess when there isn’t either some questions or a theme then I tend to not like those cafes quite as much, but really whenever one is posted then I am happy, and if there’s no q’s or a theme then I will just pop in, say hi, perhaps talk a bit about my current thoughts/feelings and wish everyone a nice day. I enjoy doing that too, and it feels good to send good/positive vibes to others
2. Hard to answer this one other than with a bit of a “joke” answer like how Ash600 did (love it, too funny!) but I guess as long as there’s either some questions, a theme and hopefully where it’s never too “heavy” or depressing then that’s the most important thing imo. I’m grateful for all who ever take the time to post cafes tbh, so I generally try to turn off any kind of “critical” part of my brain when I come into them (another thing I love about them so much, lol)
3. I’d rather spend a weekend in a snow haven, cos I don’t like the extreme heat that usually comes with tropical locations. Plus, as I know was already said, much easier to protect against cold (ie - just adding more layers) than it is to cool down when it is really warm (unless there’s AC I guess lol) :p
4. I’d rather be able to play 10 diff instruments, either of those abilities would be very impressive and would be the main reason I would want to have them lol.
5. I’d rather always be 2 hours early, cos then at least l wouldn’t be disrespecting someone’s time. I can usually always find “something” to go and do when I get somewhere “early”.
