ok now for the question

1. accomplishment: my kids

2. friend: evelyn (deceased ) i kept a boat docked at a campround but only went up on weekends . there was a bad storm and my pump quit. the boat sank before i got there but went over a big rock first. her daughter and her daughters girlfriend didn't know how to save the boat because it was on the other side of the rock. well she said we can't let it get ruined and jumped in the water and lifted the boat just enough to clear the rock. then she yold them start bailing lol. we became close friends after that until she passed.

3. beautiful place: a junkyard filled with dead old cars (yes i'm weird )

4. leader or follower: definately a leader and so are my sons

Ty for the tag @Kiwi2016

What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Working for over 7 years full time, it was very hard and upsetting for me to do that for various reasons. A lot of it was luck of course but at least some of it was due to my own effort. Never thought I'd even be able to work so long like that. I know to most people that is not considered "long" but for me it felt like an absolute eternity.

Which of your friends are you proudest of?
Only have 1 real life friend but I am proud of how self-sustained he is able to be, and also I admire it a lot and hope I can be as self-sustained as he is one day too.

What's the most beautiful place you've ever been?
Spain I guess, by the Mediterranean sea especially, such beautiful shells there wow! :)

Do you feel like a leader or a follower?
I guess more of a follower overall but it is mostly fear that stops me from being a leader. Whenever I've been forced into a position of having to lead I've usually been pretty good with it but felt extremely uncomfortable the whole time. So ya following just kinda works better when you have a low confidence level like I do I think.

What's the most courageous thing you've ever done?
Sorry but I'd rather just not answer this. I will just say that there are lots of things I've done that I think were at least somewhat courageous imo but I'm pretty sure I already seem quite lame and pathetic here so rather not make it even worse. I'm one of the weirder, odder and more fearful kinds of people there could ever possibly be for various reasons (extreme mental/emotional/psychological abuse being a big one) so let's just leave it at that.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?

I have a few, I can't really say which one I'm "most" proud of because any accomplishment I have matters to me in some way.

Which of your friends are you proudest of?

My two best friends, both of them.

What's the most beautiful place you've ever been?

Again, I don't really have an answer that comes to mind. Different places are beautiful for different reasons. The ocean on a full moon is gorgeous, big flower gardens are beautiful, I find a lot of old and ancient architecture beautiful.

Do you feel like a leader or a follower?

You have to be both if you're ever going to lead properly. Otherwise you'll end up being a dictator boss, not a leader. I aim to be an example of what I want to see in the world, so that's leadership in a way. You have to know how to follow others in order to understand how to motivate others.

What's the most courageous thing you've ever done?

Admit and say that I needed help. Life is hard and I get too proud being able to go at it alone. You don't need other people to survive. If you want a joyous and happy life, you definitely want to have people who can support you and be there for you, or to just chill and hang out with.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Not really sure, I don't think I've done anything that great. Maybe that I have been thriving in therapy.

Which of your friends are you proudest of?
I'm proud of all the people I know here, because you've dealt with so much and are still fighting on. I'm really proud of all of my friends for various reasons.

What's the most beautiful place you've ever been?
I haven't traveled to many places, but I'll say that nature up here is really something special. I think seeing Lake Michigan and how blue it was made me happy.

Do you feel like a leader or a follower?
I don't think I'm really either of them, but if I would have to choose, I'd say follower. I don't like to take charge too often.

What's the most courageous thing you've ever done?
I've been suicidal on and off for over 20 years, but I still keep going and hope for the best.

  • What accomplishment are you most proud of? ... A few things. I am proud of the fact that i am in a headspace and place where i am able to be proud of some of my accomplishments, even if it is only a shower somedays. The bigger accomplishments recently that i am proud of are - Getting my drivers license - Continuing on my studies in Mental health and hope to gain my Diploma( never in my wildest dreams would i have thought it possible)
  • Which of your friends are you proudest of? ... I have a lot of people i am proud of to many to name and i will feel bad if i leave someone out!
  • What's the most beautiful place you've ever been? ... Nature anywhere, the Australia Bush basically any beach and the more secluded the better.
  • Do you feel like a leader or a follower? ... I have no clue...follower.......
  • What's the most courageous thing you've ever done? Changing my understanding of what Mental Illness recovery looks like for me. ( this was all before my studies also) Knowing that i will always have symptoms of my mental illness sometimes stronger than other, sometimes more mild. I use to believe 100% recovery meant that all symptoms are completely gone. Also its courageous every single time i reach out and ask for help, when i need it, regardless of how long i have been managing well for.

  • What accomplishment are you most proud of? ... Giving birth to my youngest son.
  • Which of your friends are you proudest of? ...Not sure how to answer that. I'm proudest of my youngest brother for picking himself up after being spoilt by my mother and now he's finally getting recognition for his talents.
  • What's the most beautiful place you've ever been? ...Lots of places. Maybe the Seychelles.
  • Do you feel like a leader or a follower? ...I'm not really either, I'm quite contrary. I suppose I'm more comfortable following if I trust the person but I generally do my own thing.
  • What's the most courageous thing you've ever done? I went to my husband's boss 's office and gave him a piece of my mind for what he was doing - it was affecting our family.
Thanks for the tags, @Kiwi2016 and @BlackOpium and for the interesting questions!

1) Learning how to lead a wind orchestra
2) I am proud of @sassy123 for giving so much time to chat with members, using patience and kindness.
3) Hard to choose, Brasov in Romania is beautiful for sure. Warsaw in Poland too.
4) I'm following my own way with no interest in leading. (except for music)
5) Giving blood, plasma, platelets and white blood cells. Not that courageous but at least useful

Have a good day everyone !
