Hey everyone, just thought since there hasn't been a cafe posted for a few days that I'd post a new one again. Hope everyone is well and having a nice day

Was having a hard time thinking of a theme (as always lol) but then I checked on the days of the year site and found that one of the things being celebrated for today is "Caramel popcorn day" so the theme of this is food.

1. Have you ever tried caramel popcorn?
Yes.

1a. If yes - Do you like it?
Yes a lot a lot a lot so much so that I mustn't keep it in the kitchen cupboard because I just eat it all immediately.

1b. If no - Do you want to try it?
2. Do you like regular popcorn?
It's okay

3. What is your favorite kind of chocolate (dark, milk, white, etc)?
Most favorite (despite people telling me it is not really chocolate) is milik chocolate, then dark, then white but I love all of it. <3 But: absolute favorite is thick homemade hot cocoa with a bit of thickener in it and cayenne and vanilla.

4. What are some of your other fave foods?
Way too many to list! I'm a sort of foodie when I have patience and the available supplies ($)
- prawns, turkey meat, ripe pears, raspberries, real sourdough bread, crisp cold green salad, and of course cake

oh I dunno. maybe hugs to everybody who wants one. Might have to come back when my mind is more creative.

Yup I do, can't really eat it anymore though :/

Milk, but dark is a close second.

Omg soo many things lol but especially chocolate, cake, cupcakes, donuts, chips, crackers, cheese, grilled cheese sandwich, fries, pasta, pizza, ham, chicken, turkey, onion rings, samosas, sushi, chinese, mexican, and some healthier things hmm I like carrots and also zucchini, mashed potatoes, blueberries, peaches, pears, plums and strawberries.

In terms of something I want to talk about it is just kind of some random ponderings. I'm glad it's not yesterday anymore for one thing, that I'm feeling much more "myself" and just calmer overall, that I'll be seeing my sis for easter, got some cute pics of my cat looking out the window earlier today.

Some of the "ponderings" are just kind of random-ish questions like what would it be like if people could read each others minds? Is there life on other planets? If there isn't, how come ours is the only one that has life on it? Does the universe have an end? If it does, where is it? If it doesn't, why? Have lots more questions too but these are some of the ones that came to my mind first.

And if all that wasn't particularly interesting to read then sorry about that lol. Please allow me to make it up to you with these pix I found of some creative cakes I think are cool looking.

hey @JMG here i am!!! happily arrived at the café; thank you!!! 😀 you’ve got questions, i have answers:
1. Have you ever tried caramel popcorn? yes i have!
1a. If yes - Do you like it? yes i do!
1b. If no - Do you want to try it? i have tried it and do like it but i also want to try it again right now too!
2. Do you like regular popcorn? yup!
3. What is your favorite kind of chocolate (dark, milk, white, etc)? i like dark, milk and etc, but as far as i see it, white is not chocolate at all. it just makes me sad eating it - because it does not taste like chocolate.
4. What are some of your other fave foods? sushi, ramen; blue chese, especially stilton; i also like a breakfast consisting of sunnyside up eggs, bacon, home fries, well toasted wheat toast with a significant amount of butter on it, and a cup of black hot coffee (possibly occasionally with heavy cream). hey waffles are not bad either! i love pomegranates, granny smith apples, cherries, raspberries, watermelon, there are a bunch of other things as well so please don’t misconstrue their absence here as those being not favorites. and we of course must not neglect mentioning the most favorite of all, a breakfast consisting of lox served on a plain lightly toasted bagel with loads of cream cheese (as a base for loads of lox) - this too accompanied by a cup of hot black coffee (no sugar please).

at the moment i’m not sure what i want to fill it with. hmm, maybe… this…
i have a new direction in my life which is called happiness. found it!
it still requires lots of work but the noise and chaos (formerly know as hijacker) are gone gone.
this does seems like a good space filler.
meanwhile, my sciatica is still taking its time to heal but it is healing. i’m expecting to get out to the park soon and then i will start with this year’s dose of nature pictures. meanwhile you’ll just have to tolerate this stuff… 👽🛸💫

but also a wish for this 🌞🌞🌞 for everyone or each’s own particular version of it.

Sorry didn't mean to be annoying with the last q just put it there in case none of the q's were particularly interesting or if people just wanted someone to ask them what's on their mind and to be able to just talk openly about it. Always want to encourage people to feel comfortable doing that, especially here in the cafe

hey, i almost forgot a dream i had last night. really quite wonderful. i was somewhere out somewhere and i found a cute kitten. it was the cutest kitten ever!!! then i discovered 2 more. they all were so cute i had to keep them. so i did. but…
unbeknownst to me, at the same time my wife found 3 super adorable kittens quite different from the ones i found but each also so necessary to adopt. so there we were at the end of the dream with 6 wonderful kitties. meows!

Hey all! It's really good to see a cafe post! I almost started one yesterday but I'm terrible at coming up with themes.
I've never tried caramel popcorn and don't think I'd like it... I'm not a big caramel fan. But I do love popcorn, especially the kind from movie theaters. I've been known to go to a theater just to get the popcorn, and then leave.
My favorite chocolate is milk chocolate! Favorite foods... pizza of course. Chicken, and some seafood. Especially crab and lobster. Which now has me wanting a crab cake!!

Thanks for replying WildCherry And aw well I'm always glad to see a new cafe posted and I think lots of others are too. I always have a hard time with themes too, sometimes I've just said the theme is "random" or "questions" and then just posted some questions I thought of that I'm curious to see what people think of for answers to them. I try to make the questions be ones that aren't just "yes or no" answer ones and also where it's fairly likely people will feel quite differently about whatever it is. But even if the questions are just simpler like "what are some of your favorite things?" or asking how people are doing, if they have anything planned, just things that ask about their life, preferences, things they like, I always enjoy those kinds of cafes. It'd be great to see a cafe from you for sure, feel free to open one tomorrow or in the next few days if you feel like it.

I don't like caramel popcorn. It just tastes wrong to me. My favorite popcorn is cheese, especially from The Popcorn Factory. Expensive so only every 5 years.
