Jim's Cafe - Weekend 27th - 28th May

Apologies for the Cafe being closed all week... The clean up after the party last weekend was massive and the cleaners kept postponing :eek: :eek:

Anyway, we're open all weekend so please come in and eat, drink, talk, relax. Dancing will be confined to the dance floor only after @Unnamed member was dancing on the table tops and caused a huge mess! You know who you are

This weekend's challenge: Treat yourself to something that makes you happy that you don't normally do. It could be going to the zoo if you love animals or buying that "something special" that you've had your eye on.

There's plenty of food to eat. Breakfast, fruit, vegetables, snacks etc...

Since it seems the bar will be occupied, I brought mocktails! Well, the only one I know is a Shirley Temple, so I hope people like cherry flavor. XD

I know the weekend only just started, but I bought some video games today to continue to pretend I don't need Breath of the Wild and a Switch. It's a losing battle.
I'm not exactly a splurge customer unless it's chocolate related, so it's a treat for me. Now I have like 200 hours of games to play for the weekend!

Thanks for the invite @Kira75 ! The food and beverages look delicious. I did treat myself to lunch at a favorite restaurant and had a delicious bloody mary, two things I rarely do! Hope everyone enjoys Memorial Day weekend and has beautiful weather so you can be outside. I'm bringing a little atmosphere to set the mood for being outside and being thankful for those who fought to protect our country, which is what Memorial Day in the US commemorates for our friends from other parts of this beautiful world.

@Kiwi2016 thanks for the invite. The BBQ is looking good. Think I might just have a little something and a couple of cocktails...any one of them would do @nobodyknows71 ...will make my way through trying all of them. Won't take me long.
As for the challenge I made an appointment to get my hair done but it's next weekend as with it being the bank holiday the person who I see is away so deposit is down to make sure I go so I don't loose my money. Have also done a bit of retail therapy although I shouldn't have.
