Jim's Cafe - Weekend 9/6

No one has opened at cafe in a while so I found the keys under the flower pot, opened up, got the coffee going (hot water for the tea drinkers). The dust was pretty thick. No particular topic today. Chores today and tomorrow I take of my 5 year old grandson. We are going to a place where kids can climb rock walls and do near adult things. he'll probably cry because he won't be able to do the kids' indoor zip line. Fortunately for me I weigh too much for the zip line (I have a fear of heights).

Fall is coming; it is my favorite season although summer is a close second. Winter is ok if we have snow (we haven't had much in the past couple of years). and we don't have spring (mud season instead - if we have snow if not we go from winter to a hot spring).

No real chores for me today other than doing a garage sale thing in the lower level of our building (gotta get down there soon) and then dishes later tonight. Other than that my friend will be coming over this eve to celebrate my bday with some cake, then we’re gonna watch a show we’ve been watching, it should be fun.

I love fall too and am glad it will be here in a couple weeks. Feeling quite done with summer and have been for at least the last month. I find summer to be overwhelming when it gets too warm, I’m never sad to see it end these days lol. My fave seasons in order are: Spring, fall, winter, summer :p

Am glad for Fall as well. Want the heat of summer to end. And, hopefully, all the wildfires will be put out soon. No big chores today. Gonna get a new battery for my watch. Thats about it.

I spent most of my day asleep because I worked overnight. Now I'm up and leaving for work again in a bit.
Winter is probably my favorite season. I like snow, but I hate ice. And I always find cold weather so invigorating.

I am also a fan of Fall, cooler weather, get your first big freeze and hopefully so many of the bugs get killed off and the longer nights. Summer is way too hot to want to do anything in the least. I do like that Winter here is mostly mild until you get a few deep freeze storms. No plans really for anything coming up except trying to relax as best can. Glad to hear about the @JMG and wishing you the best day for yours.

I spend all day doing nothing. Summer isn't that bad, and winter here is just ok.
