1) do you like Christmas Lights?

Yes, my street is usually decked out pretty nice this time of year. They also do Tacky Light Tours of various neighborhoods here in Richmond. Some of the houses make the Griswold's look tame lol.

2) Since Christmas lights are big in the US do other countries celebrate with lights?

Yes, many ..Finland in particular really does it up on a grand scale, based on the photos I've seen..

3) What are your plans for this weekend?

Took my son to Winterfest at Kings Dominion. The park is decked out to the nines in holiday lights, there's ice skating, hot chocolate, Christmas stage shows, and a good number of rides operating. It was fun..


4) What is your fav Christmas movie?

That's a tough call. Probably Scrooge (1951), with Alastair Sim in the title role. The best adaptation of a Christmas Carol imo..

I hope everyone is doing well! yesterday it was (finally) raining and had a couple of thunderstorms! I love this weather and I was in a good mood because of it

so let's get to today's questions!

1)do you like Christmas Lights?
I LOVE Christmas lights! it’s so fun and colorful. Although Christmas is not an official holiday it is respected and most cities celebrate the holiday of all holidays and many people decorate their houses with lights and ornaments. It makes everything look so great, especially in a cold weather

2) Since Christmas lights are big in the US do other countries celebrate with lights?
oops I answered this question in the first one

3) What are your plans for this weekend?
I have no idea what date it is lol
I believe there are some Christmas and new years markets near me so I will go and scout a bit

4) What is your fav Christmas movie?
I don’t really know many Christmas movies tbh (non at all to be exact lol).

I had been thinking of opening another cafe but it took a while.

I am making Christmas cookies today but would love to see some Christmas Lights. Some years my daughter and i do a drive through the city just looking at Christmas lights. I have a list - gotten from Facebook - where the best light displays are in my area. Some questions:
1) do you like Christmas Lights? I love them. The unboxing, the untangling. I can’t think of too many other things that are pretty when you cry.
2) Since Christmas lights are big in the US do other countries celebrate with lights? I live here. My stepparent is from Cape Town and I recall she chose to decorate with blue lights our first Christmas.
3) What are your plans for this weekend? Ten thousand things in my new place, hoping to also bake Christmas cookies
4) What is your fav Christmas movie? Probably Spirit of Christmas

I do hope your day got better...chocolate mousse cake? sounds very yummy.

thanks Astrid. The cake has been my favorite for years.....very easy to make with store bought ladyfingers and no oven baking....just melting the chocolate and whipping the egg whites for the mousse I didn't make it cuz I know I would just eat cake over a period of days

1 - Yes, not too much though. I like simple designs done well.

3 - This probably meant last weekend. But this weekend, well dinner with my daughter (fun) meeting with daughter and wife to apologize for past behavior (not fun, but hopefully therapeutic)
4 - It's a Wonderful Life. I think I was born too late. Jimmy Stewart is so great.

I used to..when I was little. But mostly because my dad and me did them together outside, and he was always enthusiastic about it.. haha

Oh yeeh.. Probably most definitely...

3) What are your plans for this weekend?
I an job interviewing....yes even on weekends. oooof. Its rough. Looking deserately right now. For a job. Rough time to job search too...! Other than that...
Staying warm. Taking care of my mental health. Going to the gym, etc..

4) What is your fav Christmas movie?
ill be honest, I'm not a big fan of Christmas or the Winter. Okay, its awful.... lol! I was never that into it. Because my family stopped celebrating like all holidays when I was 13 or so. No reason. Not religious. Just our family drifted apart. So not particularly sad, but not exciting either. Its just a date, and a season thats very cold.

Its been a very long time since I've not worked all possible holidays. But I appreciate seeing others joy, and I won't spoil it! 🤗❤💚❤💚
