Hey y'all
What are your plans for today and for the weekend?
I've been up for the past couple hours playing on words with friends 2 and crossword jam.
I've no plans today - for me it's shabbat this evening and tomorrow so it's family time and a friend often comes over Shabbat day.

Are you working today / this weekend? What do you do for work? Are you studying?

Take some coffee and cake or you can join the bar that our bartenders will open when they arrive. It's self appointed jobs today so I'm unsure who is bringing what.

There's an Italian food festival near where my mom lives, so I'm spending the weekend with her and my stepdad and going to that festival. Italian food has always been my favorite!! Lol I won't even think about next week, when i'll have to exercise more to work off the food I'll eat today and tomorrow!!

Just got home from a week away which wasn’t quite what I had hoped. Dealing with a lot atm with family things. My Dad was finally admitted into a nursing home but it was quite a harrowing process and he didn’t want to go.
I teach, but we are on our summer break. Although we also run a business from home so today I am catching up with the last weeks business orders. We didn’t close down the website so came back to 30+ orders. Trying to work my way through them gradually.
Back pain and sciatica are not great either. Feeling fragile sums it up I think. Going to visit my Dad tomorrow and need to pop in to school later this afternoon, so keeping occupied.

....I hope your father adjusts smoothly and at some point might even like where he is now going to be living. I hope the staff takes good care of him whatever his needs are. It sounds like it's nearby to you so that's nice.

I'm going to have lunch etc. with a couple of acquaintances I haven't seen for awhile on Saturday. It will be a good test for me.
I have to start organizing and studying this weekend for my CEU's that are coming due.

Today - when I get up that is my only plans are do a workout & read. I was awoken way too early by a neighbor's dog who barks at 3 am.

This weekend I'd like to get started on a couple of paintings of trees.

I'm having a coffee while I sit in the corner table awhile & doing some sketches of you all as you come & go.
There's a just-baked cinnamon crumb cake in the snack table; it's for everyone. Enjoy.

@Holding my breath sounds like you have so much on your plate right now. I hope someday soon you find some time to self soothe and relax. Must have been really hard with your dad going into a nursing home. I hope he settles in quick and likes it there.

My Saturday is almost over. Today was washing day, then mum visited and we went to kmart. Brought mum her birthday present but she has to wait until her birthday which is the end of next month. The rest of my Saturday I will relax.
Sunday I want to tidy my trestle table, then watch a dvd and read my book.

Haha Well, it’s mostly shopping for food and for the Mister, who has not worn shorts since he was a kid and is currently dying from the heat
I might get some stationary, but that is not in the plans I lack clothes as well, but pretty sure I need to be a millionaire before I can buy a piece in the UK :p We shall see! I will share the results ^^

plans first weekend of the football season so going to be watching that mostly going to take the weekend off from work not that its going great

also on Saturday sill be hoping to win the euro millions as always and getting no numbers when the draw is done
