Happy Thanksgiving all and hope that folks are having a fine time today whether celebrating the holiday or just enjoying the day. Not much of anything special today except visiting family and having the typical supper and continuing with the long weekend and the rest of my vacation time.

@dandelion s that was a good thing to read, thank you for posting it. It means it's possible to take the broken-ness apart and imagine it all into a manageable thing? I guess it gives me hope
❀️ it is almost like wishing away your trauma, but it is not magic. it's like documenting that you won't stand for suffering anymore bc of s**t someeone did to you. it's getting back at them without in turn hurting someone. no reason to be drawn into that quicksand. it's like a free pass to safety even though you really did pay because it offers you some relief and knowledge that you are now reaching for better things.
