Hi @Kiwi2016 ! :D Thank you for opening the Café, I missed it! I’d like a Cappuccino, please. With some cocoa sprinkles! ^^

Well for once I have nothing really planned for the weekend. Yesterday evening (Friday) we went to the Natural History Museum for a “Sherlock type” mystery event. We played detectives by interviewing characters from the 19th century (palaeontologists, scientists, etc.) about a crime in the museum, with some clues to find here and there. It was quite difficult as they were all weirdly suspicious, but after 2 hours of searching, we did find out the culprit. All credits to @Dante , because I was confused half of the time. :p It was fun though, and I always love going back to this museum. ♡

Today we’re apparently doing a Game Of Thrones marathon, which I can’t wait for!! (Maybe that’s why I can’t sleep, haha)

And I will need all Sunday to prepare myself psychologically to see my parents next week, I guess. Pfff.

It’s nice to read everyone’s replies. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, too!

Cappuccino waiting for you ;) That Sherlock Holmes mystery event at the museum sounds so cool....I will have to look into seeing if any museums around here do something similar. As former museum person would be fun to write one too admit. Enjoy your Game of Thrones marathon!

Thanks Kiwi for opening the Cafe again. Ill take a tea if I can. It turns out Earl Grey is better than I remember.

Myself an Auri had a fun weekend so far. Crime solving mystery event at the Natural History Museum on Friday, Game of Thrones marathon on Saturday (oh PLEASE someone kill Joffrey) and today was a relaxed breakfast, tea and coffee at one of our favourite little cafe's followed by SF, strange philosophising and whatever else we can think of.

I admit to taking the lead alot, but I think you were only confused because I was rushing it. I got excited and had to run around finding everything. :D

Need to get serious on finding a place to live, since I'm getting kicked out in short order... But if I'm ever free again, I'd return to the Pacific NW coastal logging lands that I used to frequent long ago. Right about this time of year, no one is out there (not that there's anyone there at any other time, either!)

Sorry to hear this. You're welcome to say more about it if you'd like to.

I hope you'll find a new place to live that you'll like better.
Thanks... Maybe "kicked out" is too negative a way to put it, but the landlord is handing off the house I'm living in. I've sort of been house-sitting for them, as they had requested a few years ago, which has been convenient for everyone. However, that's coming to an end, so I need to go off on my own.

The "housing crisis" that was supposed to be coming seems to have fizzled out. Prices may be a bit lower, but still unaffordable in my area. We'll see how it goes from here...
