So not sure if you guys remember i was told they do a review after 6 sessions and then cut you lose so today was that appointment just going to say what happened tell me what you think

so he asked if i was ok said i had been but the last 4 days had been bad so we went through a form that i have to answer stuff like if i have little interest in things and how many days and other questions like sleep patterns so we did that even as i had a raise in my over all score it was ok for him

then he said before we move on can you answer a questionnaire for me then we can chat so did that it was about how well they had done after that he was on the phone for a few mins telling me not to worry about others judgement and to say i have to wait 3 months before i can get more help and that was that end of therapy

I understand they cannot help everyone because of poor government funding but i kind of feel nothing has changed other than i am on meds now

That was seriously poor. I'm sorry MACO. *sadhug

They spend more, it seems, on paperwork bs than on any therapy.

They told you not to worry about people judging you?
To me that's the opposite of therapy it's akin to invalidating your feelings.
We're here & will keep supporting you.
I always take a look like "therapist wants you to be all happy and lazy," its not actual work but sometimes its also depend on time restriction. this why now tho i use therapy to manage adjusting to medication but more on counselling.

They seem to work off this form that asks the question about how has your sleep been this past week how has your diet been are you eating to much or to little and theres a section about phobias it was almost like well we got that down when I am having good days so thats it

I understand the NHS and especially social care has been hammered and has next to no funding but still I was hoping I could still talk to them maybe once a month as talking helps settle me down that is why I have said I would someone to come to may hospital stuff just to support me

I don't know what to say about this nonsense, I'm just following here what is happening to you within the system. Is this letter notification to say you are now disconnected or just a notification in relation to this PHQ9 and GAD7 rating on you?

I’m very familiar with these tests. You can also take them online to check out how you are doing. Mine last one was a while ago but the PQH 9 which is the depression test is out of 26. Anything over 20 is severe depression. GAD is the generalised anxiety test, As you say they can vary week on week or even day by day. They saw that yours were lower so feel they did a good job in helping you. What they don’t see is all the other factors that change in your life which make this fluctuate so much.
I would recommend that you keep in touch with your gp over the next three months and as soon as you are able, request to be given another round of therapy. 3 months is a long time and I can understand the need to have someone you can just download on to on a regular basis. You still have us here. We are always here to listen and support you. *hug Xx

Thanks he had me take the test in 4 out of my 6 sessions its funny because those scores are from the session 2 weeks ago it was much higher after the bad 4 days i had running into this monday but even after the test it seemed he defaulted to the numbers above

thats was my idea i have to keep in contact with my doc about my anti depressants as they told me i should take them for at least 6 months then cut down as they have withdrawals not sure how you cut down from one pill a day but thats for the future

plus my issues while the underlying issue has been there since i was a kid as i told them everything for me depends on my treatment coming up and what future i see coming from that
