The brain is a marvellous thing. Google brain regeneration. There is a little boy born with only a tiny bit of brain and with amazing training by his parents, every day of his life, his brain has grown and he is functioning well in speech, movement, cognitive skills. I've seen it first hand with acquired brain injury victims who the doctors wrote off. With marvellous determination and exhausted parents, they have progressed beyond all expectations to live productive lives.
Please hold on to that. Much love to you at this terrible time. X

Ty fudgewobble,

I too have seen amazing medical miracles, My own son, who was born with ( polyarticular juvenile rheumatoid arthritis ) the Dr.'s at kaiser hosp. told us that we would never be able to potty train him and that he would never be able to walk because his body would not carry his weight, and would most likely be confined to a wheelchair.

well let me tell you all, that my son is now 21yrs of age and no longer on social security disability! He not only walks but he runs and has a great paying job, is married with Jackson being his second child, lives in his own apartment, drives his own car, and is doing a great job holding his own.

Although, Jackson's condition is taking a toll on him and the whole family, he continues to stand proud of his accomplishments.

He is the son that every parent would love.

when i wanted to post pics of my dogs that had passed, one of the staff said it was "ok" as long as the pic didn't show myself/friends or family, so thats why i haven't done it. it no big deal though...

Jackson is coming home today, he is now on stable meds that are controlling the seizures that he was having, we are glad that there is some hope now...
Please accept my condolences and prayers. I hope that the new baby will overcome the evil of this world, bringing his lights into it to dispel darkness. To have a major crisis in both child and grandchild of same descent line is certainly to be dealt a series of crummy rummy hands; I quit the card table over less. Best wishes to you and your loved ones.

this is my newest grandson Jackson, he was back in the hosp. yesterday, we had to call 911 because he went into a seizure and we couldn't get it controlled
but they released him today and is back home, I think I mentioned that they will be removing the part of his brain that never developed when he is between 8 and 10 months as he is too tiny to do it before then.

we are all praying for him, but isn't he just the cutest :)
