You're very welcome @kimsmom2005. Yes, I feel like we bury a part of ourselves with our kids. You lose a huge part of your future when it happens. Sometimes, all you can do is take it a minute at a time. And having another child doesn't mean you were trying to replace the one you lost. It's impossible to do that. You could have 10 more kids and not feel "whole" again. But it doesn't mean you don't have enough love in your heart for another child. That's the wonderful thing about love. It's boundless, no matter how many children you have. I'm glad you are finally trying to deal with the loss, however horrible it is to do that. But I do believe it's the only way to heal from the loss, although you will ALWAYS miss her and want her back. I've lost both my parents and it's just not the same as losing a child. You are not supposed to outlive your children. It's out of order. And as I said, unfortunately no one whose not been there really can understand the depth of the pain. We're in a club no one wants to belong to. If you are able, I would suggest seeking professional help. This is a situation I believe that most parents just can't recover from on their own. But please know, once again, that I am here for you.
